LoL I like the quests that I take where they're asking me for something that I already looted and have on me.Originally Posted by robertthebard Go to original post
I just give it to them and the quest is over.![]()
I see that a lot, or alternatively, I'll kill a Captain in a base, and a random quest will pop up, to talk to an NPC somewhere near by. I spend a lot of time clearing ?s so that I can find Ancient Tablets for ship upgrades, and materials for all upgrades, and it's funny how many times that happens when you do that. It can also shoot you in the foot, however, as I had happen with the Prince of Persia DLC, where I looted a chest I shouldn't have, and now can't complete the quest.Originally Posted by ProdiGurl Go to original post
I thought most of the <!> side quests were good. Quite a bit of variety in them. Some I remember especially are: jewels for the girl who makes friends, telling the story of Perseus, the slave who didn't want to go free, and the 1000 hands battle. I never mind fetching medicine, and that time it was up to me to mix the medicine...that was an interesting dilemma. Alkibiades, though...I'd tell him to shove his political machinations where the sun don't shine, but he'd probably enjoy that. -_-Originally Posted by LaMOi Go to original post
Random timed quests are naturally a big step down from the scripted ones, and the bounty board is just a bounty board. I don't bother with either of them. (Except as necessary to get the "20 bounties" trophy.) Skipping those takes almost all the grind out of the game. The only times I've ever felt I was doing something tedious were when I cleared yet another fort and when I waited for a long loading screen.
