still have a handful of rare and legendary's to get hoping to knock a few more off the list when I complete the challenges next week

Huh. I've basically never got legendaries when significant numbers of rares and epics are still out there.

Now I'm just hoping the legendaries I have left in specops crates---one of those new costumes and a handful of icons, none of which I want---will be moved to prestige crates when (presumably) new items are introduced for "SO3".

I'll be fine if I never get those. Make way for newer more betterer items!

can't you still get prestige crate items from specops crates?

if so never mind I've only got 20 items left

also damn if that's the case i'll never get the ice shard or commando boots

If you buy all the Spec Ops crates, what happens when you get free spec ops crates after getting prestige duplicates, or say buy the season pass which includes some spec ops crates? Are you screwed? Do they ever add new stuff to spec ops crates?

I'm pretty sure it refunds you but I wouldn't test that out

I can’t see how it refunds you... there’s nothing to refund when you earn free spec ops crates through prestige duplicates or a pack with crates in it. I’m guessing you just miss out on the free crates.
