    [PC] Matchmaking taking forever

    Let me try to break this down in as little text as possible.

    I lived in an apartment and was playing For Honor daily. In April i bought a home that was a new construction. This home did not have internet connection until last week due to new construction. This home is about 5 minutes from my old apartment and uses the same ISP. I was finally able to log into For Honor this week and immediately noticed that matchmaking just searches and searches without finding a game. I have tried all the networking tips and tricks and nothing seems to work. NAT is always green, tried opening ports, tried even going straight from modem to PC and still had this issue. I played all my other games just fine online; WoW, Battlerite Royale, CS:GO, Overwatch, etc..

    So every day since Tuesday, when I got my internet, I have been making minor changes to my networking, then trying to matchmake, and nothing. Though yesterday i finally thought it was the gamefiles themselves, so I uninstalled and reinstalled. And still nothing.

    Did my MMR get jacked up for being offline since April to the point that I cant match or what else could it be? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Shalasheezy,

    It shouldn't be an issue with your MMR I wouldn't imagine.

    Are you able to connect to any of the online game modes? Do you have any friends that play and can you get into a group with them?

    How long did you wait? After a pause of 2 Seasons I tried started playing again today to get an idea if I should buy the new DLC. My first round had ~6 minutes matchmaking time, the second one nearly 9 minutes and then got stuck after the hero selection. NAT is as green as it can be. I will try it again later with a few friends, maybe it's just a problem for solo players...

    Did you manage to try queuing with your friends and did it make a difference to the time for you?

    Still no games with friends, but the solo-times today were way better.
    For comparison:

    Dominion vs-AI. . . . . . . very high. . . ~4 min

    You can't even format a table here without visible characters?

    Could it be a timing issue ?
    I mean that maybe its peak time for the ISP or off peak for the game. If you notice this again take a note of the time that it happens.

    You can make a table on here though it looks like the function is hidden unless you are in advanced editing mode.

    So i managed to get back to normal. And I think its an MMR issue due to being offline for 5-6 months. Basically i qued and sat through the que and after about 12 minutes it found a game. Then i qued again after that took about 10 minutes and after about 4-5 games it went back down to 30 seconds as it was before. Almost as if it wanted to refresh my MMR because I was offline for so long.

    matchmaking queue times are terrible

    im new to pc and got for honor and i haven't got into a game under 12 minutes of waiting any suggestions to help me fix it

    I'd advise going through these steps, especially the part about port forwarding.
    This will ensure that your connection is set up correctly for the game.
