This time I don't want to report an actual bug of the game but just somebody who plots to harm teams taking advantage of the unlimited kicking power an Elder has.
A person joins teams looking for an elder or leader co-leader and even seeking leadership (not that anyone would be that crazy but he does try) to kick members and cripple teams. That person also tries to make members be kicked if he doesn't get a promotion by bringing his own accounts in and claiming they are really active (he is really active himself so people can fall in the trickery). This is basically social engineering and I'm sure he's violating allowable behaviour.
I'm wondering if you need the exact name or you can find somebody by knowing a part of the nickname. I also wonder if you can even monitor behaviour like this because if you can't your job would be difficult in this case, to track and punish this behaviour. Luckily my team wasn't a victim of this guy but he sure tried, and according to another member he was successful in a team called bloody bastards (or something like that). In any case, he will keep trying in other teams.
I've requested a feature some months ago to limit the kicking power of elders to only allow one kick per 30 mins or an hour, co-leaders and leader wouldn't have this limitation. I'm sure if you guys can implement that feature it would slow down people who plot these harmful actions.
Hello!
We will take a look into this situation. Thanks for letting us know. I did edit your post as we request you report people by username via a PM rather than on the public form, just in case of accidental reports. Do you know if anyone has been able to report this user while they've been in the team?
I tried but the name showed as "..." so he possibly changed his name (to the names of my original post, I went out looking for himOriginally Posted by Ubi-Toller Go to original post), some of the messages were gone already and his message by itself has no proof of his behavior rather it was just him defending himself against this other guy old member of the team I referenced (who btw is also not in my team anymore, I didn't want to run risks). One of his accounts did ask me to kick more members but I didn't agree to it, later I found that he and his other 3 accounts left the team (I guess because he saw he was "busted" by this other person he argued with). It's kind of a complex situation unless monitoring is possible, but I'm unaware of how often he does this, I just thought of bringing it to your attention since these are potential exploits, rare ones, but still, Thanks.
Just remove kicking from Elders. Not sure why there is a structure in teams anyways. There's really nothing to manage other than adding/removing players.
The team ranking should be based on time spent with the team. "Elder" would be good for someone who has been on the team for more than one year. You can create a whole slew of titles based on years on the team. Newbie, Rookie, Apprentice, Adept, Master, Grandmaster, Professional, etc.
Power to add/remove players should be limited to leader and co-leader.
