The Settlers Alliance: How well optimized for multi-core cpus will it be?

Of course you are gonna have support for multiple cores but how many are you optimizing for? 4? 6? 8? 16?

There is a growing popularity of high core count cpus currently and that will only continue through 2019. By the time this game releases, I imagine a good portion of gamers will be rocking 6 cores+. I have just gotten a 12 core, 24 thread cpu and would love to see the game run smoothly on my high core count but middling clockspeed cpu. It would be a bummer if the game is going to place most of the work load across 2-4 cores like most games, especially since it is a strategy game with lots of moving parts.

It would be nice to know! <3

That question is important. Strategy games are among the most CPU-intensive, and the new Settlers, with the WYSIWYG approach, should put a considerable strain on the CPU. Without multicore optimization, we'll end up with throttling issues.
