I have a support case open but have not had any luck with getting my issue resolved. Maybe the collective hive-mind here can help.
I am running the game on Steam. I bought helix credits from ubisoft that never showed up. Support told me it was because I bought the game on Steam so I have to buy the credits from Steam, which is ridiculous to me. The only way I can see doing that is from within the game itself. So I went into the game and tried to do that. I click the credits I want, it goes to another screen that has me verify I want to buy it through Steam and a couple check boxes to click. I click "Buy now" and it says "Redirecting to Steam"
Then the window just closes and I'm back at the store screen with no credits and no purchase made.
Ubisoft had me refresh my steam files and verify my AC files to see if it would help resolve the issue. I did this method twice and it did not help with my problem. Does anyone here have any insight? And let me know if you need more info to help figure this out.

This is ridiculous. I'm waiting on my refund from buying it from Ubisoft. I also tried buying it from Amazon. I got the code and tried to enter it. I purchased Assassin's Creed Odyssey 12-24-2018 and have loaded my steam account with funds to purchase Helix Credits for ACO with the same lack of results that you have had.
Support's response gave no indication of even being aware of this issue and here I find that it's been months and this is not resolved.
Is there any other way to purchase Helix Credits for AC Odyssey?
