been playing this game for 98 hours on nightmare now ... absolutely zero problem when it comes to combat.

sure, sometimes you die cause you **** up a parry or perfect dodge, but thats just part of nightmare.

also, have been playing with the health locked to 25% perk for at least 60 hours as well.

    and NO
    STOP SUGGESTING INFINITE % SKILLS

we had it in origins and it broke every sense of challenge and the difficulties and made even nightmare a joke...

I find the combat horrendous especially vs multiple opponents...if you get more than 2 you will almost never attack as they will time their attacks during your and of course you get flinched and then beaten to a pulp in the time it takes you to recover from the flinch...without touching the directional towards an enemy if there are multiple you will get that one to 1 shot from dead then switch targets automatically to another target leaving the one alive to add to the headache...Origins and Odessey both share the same crappy combat system making the 2 games in the franchise who do not focus on stealth more frustrating to play. Unity with all of its horrendous bugs had a better combat system and that's including the pebble of doom which prevented forward movement during combat. One day Ubisoft will make these new not Assassin's Creed games into a new franchise rather than bankrolling on the IP...but then again Ubisoft is getting as bad as EA with its abuse of licenses and IPs.

yes multiple enemies can be hard BUT you just need to play right...

dont try and button-mash them to death!
just run around them and wait for an opening, use your skills a lot (bull-rush is insanely powerful on a very short cooldown) and see if you can get a parry or perfect dodge in and then go ham

i personally prefer odysseys combat system over anything before origins any day of the week cause its not just brainless "wait for attack -> counter -> instant-kill everything with one button" because it got boring fast.
but different people like different things i guess

Sounds like you got SPOILED in Origins.

Your the "First" in the line of assassins.

Act like it! Quit trying to tank everything.

    Play as an assassin.

    Shield are for the WEAK.

Xp boosters @ end game. NOPE!

Broke Origins, and will break Odyssey also.

Stack your engravings properly, time your PARRIES, and this game is easy, even on Nightmare.

After 50, the XP need to go for materials or what ever. Not skills.

BTW, don't argue your opinion over anybody elses.

Game is fine as is, other than the "WASTED" XP after 50.

Most of us are 50 and have over 71% of the game to complete. Thats billions of xp going down the toilet.

We need something feasible for it.

They made a game for rpg nerds who only care about builds, numbers and unrealistic challenge of difficulty. All in all Origins and Odyssey have been the least fun to play.

I welcome the new stories, but i can't support more another unless they get back to the key elements of older AC games.

This game is way too grindy and repetitive for me to truly enjoy it. It's a beautiful game filled with garbage!

Mission level caps, grinding for resources, ridiculous gear upgrade costs, lack of gear longevity, terrible open world system with bad npc ai programming, lack of assassination opportunities and uniqueness etc...i could go on and on.

They remove the good aspects, but keep the unnecessary things like synchronization points and needing a pet eagle.

Maybe i should go back and play the AC games that i skipped, like Black flag and Syndicate to see what i missed because this ain't it.
