WHY WHY WHY WHY can you kill your OWN team mates

Its SOOOooooo annoying especially if your team with highlander or Shogoki (Fat Samaraai) SURELY not rocket science a simple bit programming Orange CANTdamage Orange, Blue cant damage Blue ,been killed as many times with my own players as have the enemy , i think EVERY player would be happy if fixed ,f,the OVER powered feats TOO etc , be LOT better if limited OR cant be used at stand and fight stage .

You should count yourself fortunate that shugoki would grace you with his club

stop ganking, then your team will not kill you.
I would wish if there would be more friendly fire, then there would be a lot less players who constantly interfere in my fights and drive up the rage bar of the opponent in the height.

The people who don't care about their team should be the one who suffer the consequences of their playstile. Deathballing is unbalance because people can swing their weapon brainlessly without consequence for them (they just disturb their teammates). If the dev team just added self damage when friendly firing, brainless gankers would actually have to think before they hit if they don't want to kill themself.. Easy and fair solution!!

Just to chime in here, it's not a matter of 'not being able' to do it, it's an intended mechanic. You have to be smart about when you're attacking your opponent, especially in an X vs 1 situation. We feel this adds a level of tactical depth, rather than having 4 man squads being able to throw out moves and have no repercussions.

You talk about theory here. What is happening everyday in the For honor world is pretty much the opposite:
The guy who is careful about his teammates while ganking take the risk to not have the kill while having a chance to get hit in the back by a toxic teammate. (Only disadvantages.)
In the other hand, the ganker who is not careful and just slam his teammates don't have to be "smart" because friendly fire don't have any consequence for him, The consequences are for the teammates that he hit in the back. This guy just want the kill and don't care about what you call "tactical depth". (Only advantages.)
You actually reward brainless ganking. I don't understand how you could not see that...

I know why the mechanic is there, and I agree that it should be there. But I also see where the OP is coming from. There has been many an occasion where I'm in a 1v1, I've taken significant damage but am still able to fight, to then have a random teammate come out of nowhere and make a heavy attack that ends up killing me and sometimes the enemy as well.

What?! When a teammate swings their sword and it hits you...you can take damage and die?! Wow thats so unrealistic if you get hit by a friendly sword you shouldn't take any damage just like real life.. oh wait. Maybe stop attacking the same person your teammate is. And you're speaking for a tiny sliver of this community don't get it twisted.
