Yes, that's what I like too. The diverse builds which you can adjust to the situation, mode or style of play. Predatory is a good talent in PVE and PVP - other than Destructive. Responsive is almost a must-have for the Showstopper if you fullfil the requirements. It is surely a good weapon for those who like to get close as well.
To pingguy. Thanks for defending good old Reclaimer. When I started the thread, I constantly got matched together with Tacts in Legendaries and this was a bit irritating, but nothing compared to the guys I met yesterday in Madison and GA. Puh, three guys with pulse and none of them changed! Almost no healing and I played with my character without Reclaimer and could choose between Tact, D3, Striker and Sentry. The end was we died. Next try. Two Nomads without healing skills (they are Nomads, they don't need it that much, but what about the rest of the team?) and a D3 with such a weak shield that he got meleed by a shotgunner. We died. I changed to GA and it was the same. Players who did not press the green link, although two team mates were down, three fire turrets and nobody changed. I gave up in the end. That's what I meant in my initial post - it doesn't work when the team members are ignorant about the builds of the others.

I'd argue 3 TA's would be the best to put with that, but 3 Predator's could be just as effective. That is assuming those Predators are good shots though. With TA you don't have to be, which gets back to why it's so popular.
If you've got 3-4 players who are reasonably familiar with the game and reasonably high GS you can get away with either a reclaimer that is damage focused or a tact player just running a support station on one of their slots - I often drag 3 other players through with my 427K SP (4x 4% DtE modded) tactician build with turret + support station.

Yes, with the high electronics of Tact, the box is not bad, although it is difficult to fully use the Tact bonus with box and seekers or sticky. I assume this is why you use turret with box, isn't it? Do you put up turret first and then healing box when the the bonus is at max?

Yeah you can't really make full effect of sticky or seeker with that combination or so easily make use of the tact bonus with them - though I occasionally change to sticky to deal with pesky NPC medics.

Which I use first depends a bit on the situation, whether I have a stack or not and whether I'm using barrett's bulletproof vest or not - dropping a support station doesn't use up the 10% skillpower bonus on the vest so you can still drop the turret with the full bonus but dropping the turret it immediately goes into cool down so you then lose the 10% bonus for a bit.

The advantage of doing it this way around - you can easier make use of 4x 4% DtE mods to quite significantly increase damage against elites while still having a useful enough support station (most of the time I use turret damage mods rather than support station healing ones - but sometimes the healing ones are useful).

Thanks for the info, Yes, sticky is the fastest way to destroy the healer's box. I use my Tact mostly with Relentless backpack, sometimes with Inventive, but I have already heard that some players wear the Barret's vest with Tact. 10% skillpower bonus is not bad and better than Relentless when using a healing box. When it is possible, I try to get up my bonus by shooting the NPCs with my LOVAC before using the turret. I tend to forget the damage to elites mods, although in my stash. Is it worth the loss of skill haste? I going to test it in my next legendary.

I think that comes down to individual player style as much as anything - when I'm running turret/support station I don't have much use for skill haste and it is close to the same haste due to the high skill power (not sure exactly how it compares) - I usually do 1x Barrett 's, 5x tact, 5x tact and 1x relentless or 1x Barrett's, 4x tact, 1x relentless depending on what I feel like - sometimes that healing from the turret damage is nice to have especially in situations where you can make use of the flame turret to hit multiple enemy.

It isn't as satisfying as playing bomber tact but for teamplay it is an option for having good healing while still having great damage albeit the turret is a bit unfocused damage wise :s

I know that it is a cool set and that it is fun to play with it using sticky and seekers. However, it has become the favourite build in PVE lately. It is hard to find a group for a legendary mission that doesn't include three tacticians with sticky and seekers; and hardly anyone is willing to switch set or, at least, replace one skill with a healing box or turret, if necessary. Sometimes, I would like to play Tactician myself, but this is mostly not possible - one needs to make damage or provide healing. Of course, it is theoretically possible to complete a legendary with four Tacticians without healing, but why? There are many other builds viable in PVE. For example Pred and here, we have the next problem with a group of Tacts. In a team with three Tacts, it makes no sense to play with Pred - the NPCs are constantly under the minor bleed effect of sticky and seekers and your Pred bleed does not work. Great! Please agents, when you play Tact consider your Pred team mate. Actually, not the Tact is the problem, but the players who do not adjust to their team. As long as Tact is the must-have build, Pred is not an option in PVE anymore.
I've been thinking about why there would be so many tacs running around in PvE. You experienced players have provided an absolute wealth of information on playing tac in recent weeks. That information has been unfiltered because it has all been about PvE. I wonder if it would behoove the existing player base if we had similar discussions on sets coming up with this next GE.

love that little quote at the end "come hell or high water" Lincoln Tunnel Checkpoint as a tech build user i can understand were your coming from the tacticians gear set is a very power set and i am not only talking about the six piece the four piece itself is extremely which is the type i run you probably know it but it runs with the inventive backpack and Larae barretts chest piece but i can see how the bleed can hinder predator i run into that problem as well and i find it very annoying i do think players need to find other builds to use and they need to learn how to co-operate with there team. when ever i dis PvE i would use striker but before that i would use tech like it was nothing else now i have two characters and that changed things on one character i have mostly tech builds with the exception of a very high DPS PvP Lonestar build that is mainly my PvP character due to the nerf to striker in the DZ in converted my striker to PvE which annoyed me a-lot but i wont go into that i have been using sentrys alot lately because finally got the last piece of the set and sentrys has the potential to be very powerful in PvE but not many people give it the light of day it is very frustrating because i was running it in resistance and my god the build was powerful i found it more effective then and ordinary tech build the fact that is other builds have been kicked out of the picture due to the fact seekers have the ability to bleed for quiet a massive amount and mixing that wiht DTE mods and rolls it gets more powerful for example i was talking to a mate online and he mentioned DTE to me and i did some searching and it turns DTE works on tech skills i set up my tacticians and put DTE mods on it the damage increased a-lot in the end i managed to get my tacticians build active sensor turret to deal 27K per shot which goes to show how powerful tacticians is i am going to end my rant now lol

Thank you, I am not a native speaker, but I remembered the expression and thought it might fit in this respect., Sentry is a good set. Sentry was the second classy set, after LS, I was able to fully collect a long time ago. With this set, I finished all the old Legendaries and incursions. I even used it in Stolen Signal in the rooms with Curveball and Pigstick - nothing works better to kill the two bosses than Sentry. It is versatile, you can roll it on whatever you want, also on electronics as you did. Ok, you have to aim headshots, but this works quite well with a bit of pratice. I use MDR and M700 Carbon with Sentry. Unfortunately, the set rapidly lost relevance for most players when Striker, Nomad etc were released, but it is still a good choice in PVE. .
I tested the DTE mods in the meantime and have to agree that it is worth the loss of my skill haste mods.
