been suggesting they just give away this game, maybe the dlc too just to increase the player count for a little bit, it already has a trash reputation so only few people will download it even as free. I made the right decision not to pre order this game, and im doing the same thing with the division 2. division 2 is what they have shown as trailer on for division 1 and that's a shiity move. its like saying F*ck you on your face by the devs and you can do nothing about it.

I cant even remember when did they release a REAL content, maybe its the survival dlc, after that its all trash, my friends are saying there are already cheaters since the 1st month its been released, and guess what, the same cheater he saw that day is still cheating.

excuse my choice of words, I really love this game, I really do, but the way they handle the contents, the suggestions, let alone banning the cheaters nor implement a bettter anti cheat system, they cant even do it.

what they did is a fire and forget on this game, they launched it while they have a few dlc gimmick, and then release the "OH SO GOOD SHIELD CONTENTS" that they are promoting division 2 and substituting it as a real content, like yeah, we might show our dorsier to the enemies and they drop dead, that might be good. its time they give up on this game and give it away for free, tons of streamers already dropped it, why cant they? the answer is, they are still waiting for that last hurrah of the game until they release division 2.

Not spending another penny on ANY of their games until they start fixing things here: constant lag; glitches like you wouldn't believe; hacking/cheating; and a refusal to restore items that I can no longer recalibrate due to a glitch.

Altogether an absolute sh*tshow. If I knew of anyone that I could complain to for some resolution, I would do it.

I would definitely recommend NOT preordering Division 2 until we start seeing more details about it. So far as I've seen, we're going to get micro-transactioned to death for things, and they promised completely free content - which now they're saying is three episodes, after which we'll have to pay?!?!?

I am one of the TD veterans and like the game, but I do not preorder it. I wait until release or, at least, until beta test. I want to have sound information, not promises, before I spend my money

I find it a bit frustrating as despite the issues with TD1 there is still a massive amount of potential and a lot of people interested in the parts of the game that are a bit less effected by broken stuff.
As everything b4 - its all subject to change as weve seen in every update released for the first game. Whenever you pay money for a game youre paying for whatever version they are currently on when you part the money.

Always see a lot of folks knocking the game, and for the most part I can see the frustration. It would be nice if those who can make changes put their hands in their pockets and actually did something about some of the more pressing issues still present to this day. Personally though I still think it's one of the best games made to this day.

Sadly for me its not so much glitches or lag, its the cheaters that have put me past boiling point. I have yet to be convinced there will be anything less than the same in The Division 2, and with a game that was built heavily on PVP and group play I have spent more hours trying to overcome Demons in the DZ and other PVP areas of the game so I can complete it how I want to that I cant help but be at the very least cautious about spending money on The Division 2.

I decided to start recording gameplay recently something I haven't done for some time. In less than 3 weeks I have uploaded 4 videos to youtube of unquestionable hackers, one of which was this weekend, also caught one or two I couldn't broadcast as I have to take into account the other players and show some restraint. After all this time to still see players able to float around destroying the game for others I think anyone that holds back with the sequel is more than justified.

Personally the price tag for The Division 2 given the current amount of player respect from those at "The top" has me sitting on the fence with ordering. I want to pre-order but cant help pondering if I should to join those waiting to see if once again us players that make the game work will be shown no respect what so ever. I'm just another player like everyone else, but after 2000 hours and £100's spent one cant help but feel a little insignificant to those that likely should give a ****. Such a shame.

The only way they are ever really going to combat cheating is if there is some system where community admins can spectate and they actually hire active moderators for that (which obviously is a cost and a not insignificant one) and even then it would be somewhat subjective if someone was cheating or not.

Anti-cheat programs like Punkbuster are reasonably effective and you need tools like that to aid admins but the gameplay style(s) and network architecture of this game make combatting cheating via software almost an impossible task.

I don't think the lack of software or moderation from a third party actually monitoring the game that's the reason we see such high volumes of cheaters in the game. Personally I think its just good old fashioned lack of care. Most of us have seen this kind of thing, even when I know for sure that several members have reported a cheat on the spot or even gone to the trouble of recording someone floating through walls or something equally obvious that very player is still playing a few weeks later, sometimes months later.

Software and moderation would be great, but anything at all would be a step up.

Problem is just reporting a player is open to abuse itself - don't like someone get you and a few mates to report them - subjectively it is really hard to be sure if a player is cheating unless they are doing something really obviously like 180 snapping to head or repeatedly noclipping through walls, etc. or some kind of software anti-cheat makes a positive hit on known cheat engine software or other unauthorised tampering with the client.

I've dealt with cheating in quite a few games and there are times when you are sure a player is cheating because their aim, etc. looks so suspect but they actually aren't or there is a popular player that appears legit and everyone is backing them up but you are pretty sure they are cheating just due to little things that indicate they are almost certainly using wallhacks/ESP (and eventually do get banned by anti-cheat software, etc.).
