Hey MarounJ! Can you take a clip of this issue and upload the video to YouTube as a restricted video? You can paste the link into this thread

Yeah, it shouldn't be required to progress. I originally failed to see the "recruit" option when I first did this quest, and instead picked him up thinking he needed carried back to the ship. I tried throwing him onto the ship from the edge, and he fell into the water instead, and drowned. I'm pretty sure I just went back to Barnabas (he's right next to where you hold "Y" to take control of the ship) and talked to him.

Hi there I have the same issue but I can't progress the story, I made the mistake spending ages trying to fix it and now have no saves before hand. Any ideas?

Hey I'm having the exact issue..I accidentally chained assassinate the archer with the range assassination.. And now I'm stuck with no clue as to how to proceed... I've completed allot of side quests and I'm currently at level 25 , so I can't afford to start over... I assumed maxing out all the recruitment slots for my ship would help but sadly it didn't work... Is it possible that I can upload my save data to ubisoft and have them look at it 👉👈

    Hi DeAtHjRc137,

Thank you for reporting this to us, we're sorry you encountered that.

Unfortunately we're not able to change or edit a Save file to revert something such as this, unfortunately you would need to go back to an earlier point to proceed past this.

Reload an old checkpoint or save.
