    There's a fix on the 1st page of this thread. Editing hex values is extremely easy. Would be nice to have official support though. Ultrawide is the future of gaming.
    It doesn't work for me after the last update

    That's because exe has been updated = replaced.
    Just edit hex values again.

    Hello all I see the wide-screen issue was not fixed but I still have hope, that being said I am noticing a trend with hard cut scenes and soft as I call them...was playing For Honor and noticed it's a mixed bag with 21.9, what I mean is the Hard coded scenes are 16.9 but the other scenes will scale. Now this game has I believe 4 or 5 Hard coded scenes in 16.9 even with the Hex edit so I would think if For Honor can scale in a lot of the story campian scenes why can't assassins creed? But it goes to show in 2019 that if you own a ultrawide be ready to get savvy with fixes, and again here is a repost of the fix for easy reading.

    Ok so easy fix and here are the steps there are only like 6 or so edits yes only 6 HEX edits you need to make with this program and credit for easy instructions go to susahamat @ WSGF website……….

    1.... get HxD hex edit … https://mh-nexus.de/en/downloads.php?product=HxD20

    2..... Open Program HxD > Click File and Open ACOdyssey.exe

    3...... Ctrl+F > Click "Hex Values" > Click Search Direction "All" > Write 39 8E E3 3F

    4..... change EVERY Instance and Replace Value With Hex Your Aspect Ratio Res , Here are the list...….

    2560x1080 = 26 B4 17 40
    3440x1440 = 8E E3 18 40
    3840x1080 = 39 8E 63 40

    5.... Save and play

    I think the reason they don't implement this officially is that it broadens the field of view during cutscenes. In most cases it's harmless. But a couple of times I've seen characters spawning and despawning outside the area that would normally be viewable.

    This is 3x16:9, right?
    If so - try AB AA AA 40.
