    Why does donating give XP?

I don't understand why donating cards would give XP. There is no benefit to hitting higher levels like there is with higher PVP levels. It only hurts you as it puts you up against harder players that have better cards. I noticed this first when I jumped from 7 to 9 by donating, then proceeded to get wrecked until I stopped donating and only upgraded my cards.

Side note: the locker limit is ridiculous. So you reward those who will spend money to win, but not those who will spend time to win?

I agree about how gaining XP for donating is a problem/punishment. I fly solo, so I obviously don't (can't) donate and I'm constantly whooping on New Kids several levels higher than me. Sucks for them.

As far as the locker limit goes, I'm probably one of the few that's happy there is one. I already spend way too much time playing this game on the daily, so it's kind of nice to have the game tell SPPD addicts like me "alright, man, that's enough for today"

    Hi WallaRex,

Leveling up does help out quite a bit in PvP (and PvE). Each time you level up, your New Kid health and Zap Damage increases, which helps when you're defending against a tough push from an opponent. I wouldn't recommend donating cards that you're actively trying to upgrade, unless you really want to help out your teammates, but donating gives you coins and XP. Leveling up IS quite important for competitive play!

Yep, exactly what Buck said. My cards are pretty well on par for where I sit in the ladder, but I've donated a ton since launch which has pushed me to lv21. I fight people with similar cards from lv18-20 typically, so the extra hp and zap damage can make a real difference all other things being equal.

Hell I'm 17 near 18 and face nk 14-16 with similar/better cards than me. I can usually outplay them and because i need fewer units for equivalent results tend to be stay competitive even when my 5/5/3/2 card tiering meets 6/6/4/3 set ups. Just earlier this morning I managed to outduel a near mirror match opponent because he had less hp from lacking donation xp and because I chose the right cards to upgrade.

The zap and slight advantage in new kid hp can be the difference and makes since, and EVENTUALLY coins add up.
