Is the Protector of Persia bug ever going to get fixed? I'm stuck on it, I can't even get out of the area or even go to the Atlantis DLC....literally stuck 😭

Fate of Atlantis is just a rehash of everything we spent doing in the main game

Clearing areas ad nauseum again, and to add tedium to the tired template, they dump in some of the worst enemies I have seen in an AC game.
They can teleport right in front of you and with pinpoint accuracy shoot a beam in your face with no chance to recover or dodge

Stop shoving modern day down our throats - it died when Desmond died!
Layla and co. have about as much charisma and personality as stuffed toys and you keep pushing a narrative that has so many threads and loose ends that it's become an incoherent and overly complex borefest

The game is tired now, it's repetitious, tedious and having spent over 200 hours on this game, the DLC offers nothing new, just more of the same.

How anyone would want to play this game again on new game plus is beyond me

If the next AC is released as a live service game - I am done.
I hate the concept - as the game takes an eternity to reach a finalised product.

Maybe I am simply a poor gamer, but I have been stuck on Episode 7 for the last few months (since November or December).

I cannot manage to survive through the Boetia Conquest Battle. I tried nearly 10 times then gave up and focused on side missions. To be honest, I even found side missions that were too difficult and I cannot complete. It even reached the level where I stopped playing it all-together because I was finding myself so frustrated and annoyed.

And it is not just the main questline. I cannot seem to defeat any of the mythical creatures (except for the sphinx - that was easy) and I've reached a stopping point on killing the cultists too.

I'm not a major gamer. AC is literally the only game I play, so maybe I don't have the abilities or experience to beat it.

It is frustrating, but even worse I know all future games will be like this too, if not more difficult. I may just need to give up on the series and move on or have someone be my tutor and show me what I'm doing wrong or what I'm failing to do.
@StockTrain119 This sooooo sounds like me some years ago. I was the noobest player ever when it came to fighting and surviving. I could only play The Sims games and point&click adventure games. And a little bit old school Resident Evil games.
Then I improved a lot in time and AC games along with Witcher and Skyrim made me "have to" improve my surviving skills because I wanted to continue and see the whole story. It took me some time to actually start to enjoy fighting in games. Before I hated any kind of action involved challenge. I sucked at open combat and boss fights so badly that I used to call my brother to come beat some parts of my games so I could continue.
Just don't give up trying, practising. Set your game to easy setting. Pay attention how to use special abilities and extra features. Dodge, parry, heavy attack etc. and how to do them quickly and at the right moment. You will quickly get the hang of it. It's not just click click click swing your sword and enemy dies. It requires more effort and thinking which makes it fun when you get used to it. Trust me you can do it and you will love it once your hands and eyes develop necessary habits.

At first, I also felt this problem. Try to change weapons and armor. I was using the sword, as I used to do in Origins, but I found easy to use spear in Odyssey. You need to find your play style.

    Pegasus

This game is amazing. The scope and breadth of this epic is mesmerizing. As a fan of both the AC series and to a greater extent, Greek mythology, this game hit all of my geek buttons to the max save one aspect, Pegasus. Now normally I don't go out for paying more out of pocket to buy skins as that train got burned down by payday2.., but I saw a winged Pegasus skin in the game store and couldn't stop myself! I imagined soaring above the Acropolis atop my beautiful white mount doing my best Bellerophon impression. I got the skin, equiped it, and found that the extent of Pegasus aerial abilities were limited to the faint fluttering before a soft landing from a high jump....I am no game developer so I have no idea the effort it would take to animate a winged launch or mid-air flight but using the controls already in place (Ikaros), it may not be that hard? I just wanted to express my disappointment. I know the ability would be OP, but that's why it's the most expensive skin in the store. Keep up the good work Ubi! I love your game.

Issue with all content relating to Asklepios and Hippocrates

I’ve looked for other threads on this, but can’t find any. I would like Ubisoft/the developers to see this if possible, but know it’s unlikely.

However, in all of the areas concerning the god Asklepios (Asclepius) in the game, the wrong symbol (and often the wrong god, in general) is used. In game, they picture the Caduceus (two snakes curled around a winged staff). However, this is NOT the symbol for Asklepios, the Greek god of medicine. It is actually the symbol of Hermès who is wrongfully depicted as Asklepios in many of the statues in the game (Astypalia city in Kos, for example) and even the necklaces worn by Hippocrates and his followers. Asklepios’s staff (and the proper symbol for medicine) is not winged and has only a single serpent coiled around it. This is a common mistake as many organizations incorrectly use the caduceus as the symbol for medicine. It was started by the US army way back in the day and people copied it without researching it properly and propagated the error. And it doesn’t help that the two staffs and the gods wielding them are similar. But for a game like this that takes place in Ancient Greece and uses many aspects of it’s history in the story, this seems like an important thing to fix. Hopefully, it will be fixed with a patch or update in the future. As a medical student, this is very difficult to ignore, lol.

    Anyway, TL;DR...

Game should be depicting Asklepios (Asclepius) and his staff
-Symbol and god used in game: Hermès & the Caduceus:

-Actually Asklepios and his staff (the Rod of Asklepios):

    Or even TL;DR-er...

    Wings = wrong
    No wings = correct (probably)
