The real world behaves this way.
I would like to see the mechanic to steal or hack codes, and ways to prevent or delay SAM respawns, but decisions need to be made to get a game completed. You also have the point that too many conflicting mechanics render themselves pointless if you're not careful. Some would like a missile defence system with flares, I would like the counters I mentioned, but then others would say, if you fly around unannounced even with IFF in anybody's airspace, expect a fighter jet to be nearby pretty soon. If the game has too many counters then it gets to the point of the mechanic being pointless in the first place or tedious to counter it.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction... that's all I'm saying and this game forgets about that more times than I am willing to count.
Sure, sometimes we defend it using the words "it is just a game" then we also defend it by using "The real world behaves this way"... I just wish they would have been consistent on whatever the hell they were trying to make while they were consuming coca leaf to get to their vision that's all.
If you are a cartel member entering without announcement with an APC to their base or driving nearby their areas without announcement you are killed and that's it.Originally Posted by GAP_Computer Go to original post
They know the movements in and out, they call in and if there is something suspicious they would rather shoot at you, believe me, if you should know something about cartels that loyalty is not something they care about.
Well no need to be. After multiple blue on blue incidents in recent conflicts you can be fairly certain that aircraft can distinguish friend and foe on the ground and it's not by squinting closely. For foot personnel that is usually by means of a strobe, but vehicles have enough power and weight carrying ability to have the onboard electronics needed to work with aircraft in the overall combat information space.Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
As I don't work in the land sector I am not familiar with what they have as IFF equipment, but there is absolutely no evidence, in the way the game behaves, that the factions are using anything other than the Mk 1 Eyeball as their ground based IFF system so lets just assume it's that shall we?
