Couldn't agree more! Any personal tips on how to get by in Survival?

You can find a lot of tips from myself and other experienced Survival players under "General tips for Survival Beginners" here in the General Diskussion section. I hope it will help.

As for Survival, like I said it is not difficult to beat, and the shield is fairly simple. It is just boring and the struggle is more along the lines of forcing myself to play it rather than earning the shield. Two of my friends who have all the other shields have just refused to go back into survival. I really want the full shield completion but even I came close to just saying F survival too.
    Good rewards like what?

A guaranteed classified/ exotic plus something in the sequel seems like a fair trade given the ease of completion.

I agree that the reward is ok considering the effort, as you said a classy piece, 100 Div Tec and something for the sequel suffice, imo. I had rather a problem with the difficulty level of the Shields. As I said, a bit too easy.

Guys, I said in my OP that my info was from XBOX ACHIEVEMENTS, not really confusing. I also posted about 4% on the PS, again console specific. As I have no interest in calculating the player numbers across all modes of play I am just going to say 3% of players did a survival extraction.

I did not really make the thread to discuss survival difficulty. It is EASY and the only difficulty is from RNG and players stealing your loot. The main problem with the mode is that it is boring. People have no interest in playing it, has nothing to do with difficulty.

Yes, we should all get level 30 OP gear in the DIV2 because that is what i find fair........ The shield rewards are lame, the only thing that might even be cool is the flag trinket. The emotes are pretty bad, watching you and finger wag is the best they could do? I am not asking for the universe, but something that would actually stand out as special would have been nice, like one of those cardboard burger king crowns, or an emote where you polish a super shiny silver shield.

Of course, I would prefer a super-strong weapon or gear set as reward, but that would surely be considered as unfair by a lot of players. Especially the new ones or some casual TD1 players. Therefore, I can live with the "reward". Did not expect much right from the beginning. It is the same with TD2 - i do not expect too much so that I cannot be disappointed.
Besides, I am not a guy, but how should you know.?

I also can't believe that only 2 percent of the players have successfully extracted from Survival, and yeah it refers to the division players and not the Xbox owners here. It's not that of a difficult game but not that interesting.

In my view, the reasons for the low success rate is that many players quit before the Survival release and that it is a mini-game within the Division and needs a bit of experience to be successful. I know that many people consider it as boring or frustrating, but I like it, especially PVP. It is a much more authentic PVP experience than, for example, LS with all the lags, hackers, meta-sets etc. And when we talk about boring parts of Division - UG is much more boring and repetitive than Survival, not to mention playing legendaries such as Naplam for the hundredths time.

For me games with timers means instant dislike as it's often a developer weasling out of providing content. Having said this methinks survival (PVE) is one of the most interesting game types in the division.

Overall I'm wondering if these game modes were actually left over concept test modes for the final game.
