[FEEDBACK] / [SUGGESTION] My top 3 requests
Hello,
yes, it's another one of these request posts. And yes, all of these changes where requested before, multiple times. But that's exactly my point. These changes where requested by many other people, but still, most of the latest additions made on the basis of community requests are of cosmetic nature. And although I appreciate some of the newly added cosmetics, I'd like to stress that additions like another AR variant, a new hat or an extra button for a shirt do not encourage me to start a new campaign. The features requested below, on the other hand, would. So let's start with the list...
1. Weapon customization for AI team mates
This has been requested so often, that I expected it's implementation for at least the last three major patches. The ability to choose the weapons for our AI team would add a whole new layer of role play possibilities. And since the enemy and rebel AI can use different weapons, I'd figure the implementation would be possible. I'm not sure about shotguns and crossbows, but at least let us give them ARs, LMGs, SMGs and sniper rifles.
2. Ability to turn off unimmersive audio
There are a couple of sounds I wish I would be able to turn off. The sound that bothers me the most is the hit confirmation sound, this little 'thud' that is played whenever I hit a body. The second most disturbing sound is the alarm when you are about to get detected (the players spider senses, I guess?). The point I am trying to make here is that we are already able to turn off all visual effects like alert markers, enemy markers and most of the interface elements. I simply request a similar feature for all acoustic warnings (detection alerts, Unidad alert level increase, hit confirmation,...).
3. A wait / pass time function
Requested numerous times. This would open up so many new tactical possibilities.
So, that's my top 3 request/ suggestions list. I have many more suggestions, but I figured by restricting my list to those three, I'd emphasize their significance
Thanks for reading.
