From the moment I played Far Cry 2, this series has held a place in my heart like nothing else. I finished the game twice and loved Far Cry 5 to pieces, building the resistance to fight the cult to the awesome soundtrack. Dan Hay and the others involved did a marvelous job building this fantastic world of Hope County, Montana. While haven't touched the DLC's I felt some form of pathos regarding the choices in the ending, to me its like a two headed dime. Both fit the games tone in context, hopelessness and sorrow. But maybe with my Asperger's Syndrome, it was the kind of endings that kept me thinking and feeling an emotional attachment I never had for a game in a long time.
I had at first felt like that when Joseph Seed said that when innocent people were killed, it was my fault like I was being punched by MIke Tyson. It struck me hard adn I had hoped in the end everything would be resolved and I would save this County torn apart by the evils of the Father and his Family. Ubisoft if you are reading this I pray and hope for another ending that has I putting Joseph Seed to justice. And maybe a few side moments to reflect afterwards with the deputies and the sheriff who had been along in this crazy, crazy ride.
Again thank you Ubisoft and Dan Hay for opening my eyes with an amazing story and memorable performances from Greg Bryk to Jenessa Grant.
I will never forget this as long as I live.
Paramount pictures if you are reading this I pray for another ending. (You sound the same)Originally Posted by SylvaticSix156 Go to original post![]()
