    Maniac Mansion NES (Xbox One)

Hey everyone, just published a map I've been working on for quite awhile based on one of my favorite games on the NES, Maniac Mansion. I've recreated the entire mansion, including a few new areas. This is a journey map, so it's more focused on puzzles, hidden areas, things like that.

    A couple tips:
You need the car to break down a certain...barrier....to gain access under the house.
Make sure you drain the pool before jumping in!

This was on my to-do list but I couldn't figure out how to arrange the house in 3D 😮. I suppose if I based it off the TV show...

The layout is as close to the original as I could possibly make it, but it was challenging lol. I had to build a few rooms that interconnected certain areas or otherwise the translation from 2D to 3D couldn't actually work, the rooms would fold in on themselves, if that makes sense . Ohh I remember the show, it was...something else! Someone uploaded most of it to youtube actually lol.

Looks great, has anyone swapped it onto PS4 yet?

Has anyone managed to finish this? We have spent ages in coop trying to solve it and now run out of patience.

It really needs clues laid around to give you ideas of what to do. Nice aesthetic, but puzzles are just not intuitive enough.

I ended up downloading the map, loading in the editor, and working out one hint to get me moving again, and then we completed the map after that. Quite a good map, and deserves a far better score, but the difficult puzzling probably has many people abandoning it pretty early, and then not giving it the like.
