    My two cents:

    1. tier and extreme don't change enemy engage range. so if you want to go frontal assault, keep at least 100m distance from enemies.

    2. ai teammates who're odered to line up a sync shot will not perform revive actions.

I’m under the impression that levelling up weapons in tier mode basically makes them as effective as they are in regular mode. (In other words, unless leveled up, weapons in tier mode are less effective). If that’s true, your request makes no sense... a levelled weapon in tier is the same as non-tier.

And you simply cannot trust the weapon stat bars to tell you anything about how a gun performs in the field.

What Tier would you play on?

I find Advanced on regular mode is perfect fun factor for me. Extreme offers more of a challenge, but the Unidad become a pain. Tier above 40 is just ludicrous.

You are playing TIer Mode wrong. You should still be fine going guns blazing until your reach Tier level 40. After that you should really be focusing on taking out the enemy undetected and as stealthy as possible. Once you reach Tier level 35, the Cloud detection will be turned off on your minimap. Tier mode is as hard as you make it to be. You need to be patient in Tier mode and make every single shot count. You need to mark every single last one of the enemies in the compound and decide how you will execute your mission. You need to have a clear path to a fallback position if things go south for you. By the time you get to Tier level 35, you should already have all of the perks and rebel support upgrades maxed out. You need to utilize all of the tools that you have on you. That includes the Flares and grenade simulators that I never see anyone use. Flares are supper useful in distracting large enemy groups. Tier mode just comes down to stealth, resourcefulness, and patience. Players that can do all of these three things will Tier mode much easier.

Try taking some non leveled weapons into Extreme difficulty and tell me how you go.

When you've worked hard and long for the resources to get the extra damage you should be able to keep it in non tier mode, just for the fun of it.

By the time you acquire an assortment of leveled weapons in tier mode you've probably finished everything and just play to have fun or help others anyway.

Its also nice to try leveled weapons on enemies without getting pinged every five seconds when willfully engaging them, unless you want to shoot rebels or civilians with them.

Once your Tier One there's no going back, its either on or off.

Again, this is exactly the issue people are having

I hardly doubt anyone here finds this game difficult when playing stealth, it's just that once you go loud it becomes ridiculous. Again, I personally prefer going loud, silencers ain't how I roll, so if I want to get the prestige credits now I am practically forced to play stealth while it is not my cup of tea.

When you play advanced (something I can't do now because I want the prestige credits and no, I do not enjoy PVP) it is balanced IMO. You can go loud, but you have to choose your fights, if you go loud inside a Unidad base, you're ****ed. With the highest difficulty however, you actually get ****ed by every single little Santa Blanca scumbag on the map. A tad annoying.

If you want the prestige credits and still want to play in regular mode in Advanced difficulty, you can simply do what I do, and toggle on Tier mode just before you complete every mission or tag a convoy... and then toggle it off immediately after. It's a total cheat, but it maintains my sanity and allows me to get the prestige credits so I can get lots of duplicate items in crates

I quit at Tier 19. I didn't need the aggravation. Then one day I was watching Sgt. Nick Fury ... and thought to myself ... if he can do it, I can do it. I didn't need to play advanced then turn on tier just before finishing the mission. I did often play with a co-op player but just know as you increase co-op players, the game ramps up the difficulty. It's a fair balance I think. Co-op in this game in my opinion is fantastic.

Take it easy, use your assets. Sync shots with ghosts as often as you can. Always ALWAYS take the high ground, especially when taking convoys. You don't always have to pick easy missions to tier up. Pick missions that pay 3800 tier points. The more you do those missions, the easier it gets. I swear ... the easier it gets. You can't help but learn from your failures.

Beyond the gifts and gimmy's you get for leveling up, the weapons or the crates one thing you'll get with out a doubt is BETTER. Where as I thought by tier 5 I just wouln't make it. What I found was by Tier 5 the game itself was a bit harder but I was playing A LOT better. In the end, I felt better about myself. I play on extreme difficulty all the time now because anything short of that is just too easy now.

Oh ... and I'm 64 years old. Just sayin

What baffles me is why so many people prefer to play without stealth in a series that's traditionally always been about tactically and patiently planning your infil and exfil, while considerably outnumbered, using stealth.

It's as if their move to a sandbox design suddenly made everyone want to abandon traditional ghost play style for an overt style, yet you also have all these people wanting the path plotting for your squad that older GR games had.

Wouldn't you agree that it's actually Wildlands' strength that, given that you don't play tier mode, that you can choose yourself whether you go loud or not? That you can choose your own approach?

I don't think that the playstyle of previous games counts as an argument. Wildlands allows for the player to choose, that's what Ubi used to sell their product and it is why I purchased it. Having said that, with the exception of Vegas 2 and Siege I have not played any other Tom Clancy games. So perhaps that might explain why I look at things differently.
