What they need to do in general is lower the accuracy of the AI, keep the damage, if possible change behavior as well from narcos and unidad because rn there is no difference between aim or tactics at all. That might be a lot of work maybe idk, I'm no developer. The suppression effect needs to be added even as an option for all of campaign and ghost mode. More HUD options from PvP crossed over as well. Reinforcement time and aim has to be reduced, yesterday in ghost mode on advanced difficulty, a Jeep full speed drove str8 to my position and flanked the right side while I was already being shot at from the left. If I wasn't behind cover he definitely would smacked me or if I was behind 7 roadblock vehicles, they would plow through em like juggernaut.

One thing I find extremely unimmersive about Tier One mode is that SB, Unidad, and rebels all take a decent amount of damage when they shoot each other while if any of them shoot at me I get alphaed immediately.

A simple but crucial little mod I liked in Fallout 4 upped everyone's damage---mine against NPCs, theirs against me, theirs against each other---by 5x. It worked out so that even at high levels---HP increased for both the player and NPCs as one levelled up---anyone getting shot was nearly always killed. By default no NPCs in that game have perfect accuracy with firearms (or energy weapons), so it actually worked out quite nicely in terms of balance, I think. No one was always getting shot all the time, but someone who did get shot, especially in the head, was usually dead immediately.

I always believe the best way to increase a game's challenge is to make general situations and mechanics more difficult to cope with rather than making enemy NPCs godlike compared with you. Pinpoint accuracy and bullet sponges are just too unrealistic and lazy. Now that I've done, one time each, a tier 1 vanilla and tier 1 Ghost mode character I don't tier any more, it's just not enjoyable for me because it's an unstimulating kind of challenging.

Once you learn how Tier One mode needs to be played to get consistent results, especially on advanced tiers, it gets ingrained in your memory.
I keep all my dope for the ballistics but the reaction time is what gets me. Ill go from a game that is much more casual back into GRW tier mode and I just get shredded because Im not on point. I have to remind myself there is no room to screw around and be really vigilant altho I sometimes do the complete stealth stuff in ghost mode, at other times I just hit SB so hard and so fast that it throws them off balance a bit. Fully upgraded rebel support helps a lot because you pop mortars, call diversion forces and guns for hire and you cam pretty well overwhelm any cartel base provided the alarms arent hit and Unidad doesnt join the fun...

I also want to +1 what non-exist-ent said about the mission choices. I basically do all of those over and over (using the military chopper or Unidad UH60 helps move things along). I agree with all of those missions, they are quick and net a lot of points.. The only one I wouldnt include is the Truck Depot, for some reason I always get screwed over doing that mission and have to restart so it doesnt end up being a good use of time for me. Inca Camina is glorious for quick tier points tho, as well as anything where you just have to blow stuff up or kill someone and leave.

    A. Every body here has played on extreme difficulty and found that it wasn’t difficult enough.
    So.....
    B. they turned on Tier 1 mode and found that the step up in difficulty is to much.
Ubisoft advertised Tier 1 mode as taking your game to the next level a level beyond extreme.

Solution: play on the difficulty that matches your ability.
Not "everybody". Some of us have expressed several times that it's not that Tier One is too difficult but the way that it was made more difficult. Personally, I had no problem making it to Tier 1 but I did have a problem with the way the mode tended to force you into a particular playstyle, etc. ....but Tier One works for some folks who enjoy that kind of play which is fine IMO.

If you want to run in, then prepare to be gunned down, its fairly simple.

    Enjoy your call for duties.

It's challenging but far from impossible. I've been playing on highest difficulty from day one and Tier one mode since it became available to me. The only mission I haven't figured out yet is predator. Everything else I might have to re-spawn a time or two but I get it done. Upgrade and use teammates as much as possible along with rebels and of course drone.

I have the desert sniper weapon, lvl 30 msr and lvl 30 ak-12.

Personally tier one is fine, i die alot. But hay thats the game. All i'd like once I have completed tier 1 mode is the ability to be able to pick a tier I can play on. Have the same upgrades for my guns that I have grinded for.

Keeping the damage on upgraded weapons once deactivating Tier mode is a fair request Ubisoft!!
    Please make it happen!!
