Hello I have a few questions about the ghost mode.
1. My friend thinks there is a secret success. In which one must create the game on expert in Ghost mode. He said something of 1% but I can not find anything about it on the internet.
2. Is there a difference in rewarding between expert and Arcade Degree.
3. If I play in the normal game prestige points, I can use the in Ghost mode?
As far as I know there is nothing "secret" to be gained or won in Ghost mode, it's just the onetime 400 point batches of prestige for finishing boss missions and the onetime 3000 point batches for getting to level 30 and getting to tier 1, plus taking down a division of the cartel (Security, Influence, et cetera) and Sueño himself you get a piece of the exoskeleton outfit with new paintjobs unlocked at level 30 and tier 1. Also completing the game gets you a little video message from a couple of Ubisoft executives.
All rewards are the same regardless of difficulty except that getting the 3000 prestige reward for tier 1 of course requires you to go all the way through Tier One mode which gradually forces the game difficulty to rise if you want to continue advancing to new tiers.
There is only one kind of prestige points, they buy the same items regardless of where you got them---prestige crates, PvP classes, PvP armoury packs. Two of those three categories are obviously PvP only. Anything won in a prestige crate can be used in Ghost mode except for PvP victory poses which are of course also PvP only.
Hope that helps.
1. No, there isn't.Originally Posted by Ichigohh Go to original post
2. Nope. I use Arcade difficulty for Ghost Mode to balance the perma death. Though if you activate Tier One in Ghost Mode, you will have to end up in Expert want it or not.
3. I really don't get what you're asking. But Prestige Credits is only used to get Prestige Crates in Store or to unlock class in PvP. This currency does not affect your Main Campaign and Ghost Mode in any way. Ghost Mode will reward you Prestige Points and you will accumulate them to unlock the things I said earlier.
I don't think so.Originally Posted by Ichigohh Go to original post
Character will be deleted only when you're down and not revived. That includes if you quit the game while downed.
Failing a mission or failing otherwise doesn’t erase your save. Only actual death.
And yes, quitting the game or turning off the console while you’re downed will clunt as death.
Failing due to killing a VIP, civilians, being detected, losing an HVT, timer expiring, etc. does not count as death, so your save won’t be erased in such cases.
You seem to be trying to decide if Ghost mode is worth it. I say yes both for the rewards and some of the features like realistic reloading and single primary and such. It's just a better experience overall, I think, and there're thousands of prestige credits up for grabs.
Do keep in mind that you can always back up your savegame files if you dislike permadeath or are concerned about it happening to you unfairly (via a bug or whatever), then restore those files if the game deletes the ones in the default savegame folder.
