The ability to toggle fast forward, holding the left stick clicked in is very tiring for my thumb.

hold LT (brake) = slowmotion
hold RT (gas) = fast Forward

Triggers would be good for variable speed since they're analog, but there should
still be an option to lock the speed in place (toggle) so you don't have to hold
any input for an extended period of time.

Though different camera modes must be accounted for as they have different controls.
