I was expecting to see more though.
From what was pieced together already, there wasn't much new info.
I thought it'd be at a live stream level with some devs.

    Just a suggestion
The Damage drop off graph should show the initial distance that the damage starts to drop off. I did an example.

    Glad that you liked it!

Thanks for your suggestions, Everything you see in the screenshots is of course subject to change, but i'll make sure to pass it on!

I would like to reiterate again that the community would like to see a dev blog covering the technical side of the game.
(Servers, Netcode, Network Protocols, Hit detection, Ping, Etc)

    Something like this would suffice.

    https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/siege/e...and-next-steps

We all know how bad the connectivity is on the TCTD1. (Desync and Latency)

We want to see what improvements are being made for online play.

Personally, I would like to see another separate dev blog covering anti-cheat and your updated policy on combating cheating and toxicity ( Code of Conduct). Ignorance and hate don't belong in this community.

    Something like this would suffice.

    https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/siege/e...-blog-toxicity

    https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/siege/e...ode-of-conduct

I am providing these examples from Rainbow Six Siege team because those dev blogs are addressing those issues and those dev blogs provided insight to the community regarding their plans to combat these issues regarding latency, cheating and toxicity.

One thing is certain though, no more shock nades
Still though, I'd move the frag to the Demolitionist, because at least with the Survivalist, the crossbow doesn't explode on contact, so if there is any indication that an arrow has been shot on the ground near you, you would have time to dodge.

I'm approaching how grenades work in Division 1 and applying it to Division 2, because I'm sure not much will change in that regards. Stagger + AoE that explodes on contact in a game where they are putting more emphasis on cover. You'll get noob tubed until you can't take it anymore lol.

Also, based on the wording, it sounds like 3 additional grenades will be unlocked at 30, so shock could return. Drones could also adopt that feature. May I remind you of the 1.3 Shock drones in Falcon Lost?

One of the things that got TD1 into trouble from my reading was the how the % and interactions of the numbers got when it came to balancing everything. My concern with what I'm seeing though is that there will be an over simplification. What got Destiny 2 into so much trouble was that there process of simplification made loot worthless to grind for. It sounds like TD2 is going down exactly the same path. No number will be big enough to cause an in balance. No gear will be worth getting. It's a tough road to walk.

The way Destiny 2 gave out loot reminds me of patch 1.4; the loot rain patch.
I liked that patch, but it cut my time in game because I got everything too easily, just like Destiny 2 did.
    The loot lost meaning.

I love how Forsaken made the exotics actually very rare, unique and powerful.
That's my favorite Forsaken change; rare loot is rare

I hope we get more dev blogs about the network, connectivity, netcode, anticheat, combating toxicity, etc

Not sure how will burst fire weapons work this time since burst fire weapons were terrible in TCTD1.
Well im intrigued to see how they balance out the difference weapon classes. At the forefront of my mind the biggest thing they could do to make burst/single fire weapons more relevant is to reduce the amount of amo an agent can carry.

I just cant see this happening so again we will be left at the mercy of whatever the dev team "thinks" is a good stat bonus(es) for players who have a better aim and can engage from longer ranges that a facetanker. The other thing they could do is tie in weapon rof to stability and aiming control. Things I dont believe we will see done. Even if they are another striker set stab. bonus and that will render that mechanics meaningless.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on Destiny 2, even in Warmind. Grind for grinds sake. Milestones that force the stop of progression. It didn't flow well.

I read about TD and 1.3. I didn't play it, but I'm hoping that something like GE will show up in TD2 that will allow for specific grinding of specific gear, sort of. The idea of uselessly grinding for hours on end for a 1% chance at something better will turn people off. It almost did me in TD, until the first GE rolled a round. I was playing challenges, piers, and resistance. Hoping and praying I'd get a classified piece. Never seeming to get a piece of anything suitable to anything I wanted to play. I don't mind grinding. What I mind is knowing I'm being forced to grind needlessly. I'm a goal oriented individual. Tell me it'll take 40 hours of game play to guarantee I'll get piece X, I'm good. Tell me I have to play 40 hours for a 3% chance to get something better, i'll move a long to a game where the developers aren't sadists. You need to understand that I didn't start playing TD until 1.8.2 and I've truly enjoyed the experience.

For the most part, Destiny exotics have always been like that. There's a reason why there are more Destiny exotic reaction videos on Youtube than there is Division exotic reaction videos.

In Division, we're numb to it because there are way too many guaranteed exotic sources. Destiny has exotic quests, sure, but at least there is a build up to those exotics other than simply completing a mission. I still opt for removing guaranteed exotic drops and having exotic caches as random drops instead. There could even be exotic quests since there is more civilian interactivity.
