Look at the plasma cannon directly, as in where it’ll come from. And if it is in the middle of your screen and you don’t look away for a moment, it will curve around you. That technique is a lot faster than TheHand’s dodging.

so if the Predator shoots the plasma cannon i just stand still and look straight at it?

Yes. But you have to make sure that the point where the plasma cannon originates from the predator needs to be in the centre of your screen. Use the crosshairs as reference.
