    Duel Modes Separated?

Is this going to be the new norm?

The 1v1 duel that's grouped with brawl has a medium population, while the ranked duel that's isolated has a low population.

Why not remove the 1v1 duel that's grouped with brawl and remove the requirement to have at least a reputation of 1 to be able to play ranked duel? They're the same thing and it'll make finding games a bit faster.

Also, the ranked duel seems more sensible than the standard duel because it doesn't include reputation level in searching for games, only your rank, which should go up if you have a high skill regardless.

People who go for casual (i.e. non ranked) duels tend to be just looking for some fun and a good fight. People who play ranked matches tend to be tryhards who want to win at all costs and exploit every available ounce of cheese. A sweeping generalisation I know but this statement reflects my experience in ranked matches across many different genres. Removing the option for a "casual" duel would not be a good thing imo.

That's not been my experience. It really feels the same.

In both cases you go up against people of similar skill
