    Some tiips for Ambush commendations

This is not the first time that Ambush takes place and I assume that most players have the commendations for this GE already. However, there are surely also players who haven't and want to get the Ambush comms finally done. Here some tips to speed it up a bit:

Ambush Boss Killer: this one is a bit boring, but, at least, you can kill named bosses of all fractions for this comm and not just Rikers as in Strike. That means, you don't need to play Lexington over and over again; All named bosses in LZ/DZ, UG, missions etc count! If you want to finish this comm quickly, go solo!

Personal Space: can only be done under Strategic Ambush conditions! I killed the most of the 250 NPCs in Dragon's Nest - in the room with the Fire Truck, most players position themselves at the door next to it. Here, you are near enough to your team mates to get a lot of kills.

Surprise Punch: gives a nice patch (the boxing glove) and is almost a piece of cake with D3 set. Just melee kill the 100 NPCs with your shield.

Clean Run: I did it in Police Academy on hard with Tactician. You have to stay far behind to avoid draining an ally's heal and cannot do much for your team, apart from throwing seekers. That's why you mostly need a friend for this comm, since most random teams kick you out when you stay this far behind. I completed it with one of my friends. I stayed behind, he killed the NPCs and called me when it was safe. Afterwards, I did the same for him. Commendation done!

Technically Able/Gadget Geek: I recommend Nomad with high stamina or a high skill build - don't forget that you have only medkits and talents to heal yourself. You can do both commendations in one run, when you play in a group, on WT 5, hard difficulty or above. Of course, the same applies to Technically Doable/Tech Time.

Full Sweep: I did it at the beginning of Times Square in hard. Put on my Tact, ran down the stairs, used my sticky and my cluster mines and the comm popped up.

Perfect Execution/Super Soldier. I used Nomad and played alone, apart from Dragon's Nest. This one, I completed in challenging with two of my friends. Covert Ambush and hard difficulty suffice.

Every Journey/Journey's End and Kudos can be done together, if you play the Ambush missions in Covert or Strategic right from the beginning.

The rest of the commendations can be done by the way in Ambush and need no further explanation. Good luck, agents!

Great tip on the melee commendation. Knocked it out in 3 runs. Pun intended.

Forgot to mention: when you do the comms for playing the missions only with Tech Wing skills, do not switch gear sets during the mission. It is important to have always only Tech skills, not only in battle! It is very frustrating to complete the mission without healing skills, but don't get the comm in the end only for changing or adjusting your set.

Yeah I think that's what happened from the other post. I think the one team mate switch gearset and switched to tech wing skills. Did it later and worked. Still a bit frustrating that you can't even change gearset and not use anything. But whatever. Easy enough. Thanks.

It happend to me in Strike when we did the Security Offficer comm. Due to the different rooms in Stolen Signal, many players use different sets in this mission. One of us switched from D3 to Sentry for the room with Curveball - no cmmendation. Next time in Ambush, I was wiser.
