Are you a recent player after recent discounts or free-play sessions?

I don't know how I missed this game, it's huge and a lot of fun.

I remember seeing reviews saying how dull it all was, so I skipped it, but unwisely so.

    Any other recent players?

I was more of a Far Cry and Uncharted gamer and skipped this due to memories of tedious squad controls and missions on rails from the GRAW days and totally overlooked this. I recently watched some YouTube videos that peaked my interest and came across some articles on the scope of the world and campaign and wow! I’m converted.

I now find Far Cry comical and puny in comparison, although I can see a lot of cross-over both ways between that franchise and this game.

Wildlands is so refreshing and vast. It’s the best game I’ve ever played by far. I’m an idiot for ignoring it for so long, althought the upside is that we’re not plagued by a lot of the early issues with the game.

I love the world, the guns, the customization, the missions, and just the vastness of it all. It’s the first open world that feels like a world and not a microcosm.

The size is certainly a thing.

About 70 hours in, the stats say I'm a quarter done, but I'm in no hurry so this will take a while...

Got it back in June, after abandoning the very, very disappointing Far Cry 5.

Been playing the heck out of it, got 500+ hours to date. Not really a fan of a TPS, but have adjusted from my preferred FPS environment.

Lately been doing the campaign solo (no AI team).

Sure hope Ubisoft corrects the bugs introduced in late July. At least the new game start bug was fixed, so now that helps greatly.

Reading and watching game review is a waste of time. Just as wasted as reading people bullsh*tting in forums. There's no journalism in their journalistic content.

There are always contributors on YT who play the full game if anyone were unsure what the game is all about. Watch that and decide things on your own.

Glad that I didn't miss this game and played it wholeheartedly. Am I 100% satisfied with the product and service? Not really. But surely I'm glad I didn't get bullsh*tted by reviewers like some games that I skipped a couple of years ago.

Picked 2 copies of this up during sale for my wife and me to play through while she is out of the state on business. So far we have taken out 3 of the lieutenants, and are having a great time. She has never really PC gamed before and has been loving it.

A lot of these should be listed here, where you can track the team's progress. Sorry that bugs have had an impact on your experience.
