    [FEEDBACK] [SUGGESTION] Ghost Mode and other shenanigans

    Hi,

    I would like to offer some feedback and suggestions.

    • The Ghost Mode mechanics are very good and make for a more realistic and fun tactical coop gameplay. However, for the ones (like me and my friends) who like to play it hard (with tags turned off), permadeath is too much. Please create an option to disable permadeath in ghost mode.
    • Also, not all weapon/ammo crates in the map should have all the weapons available. only some weapons would be available at each crate, forcing the players to choose from that limited stock.
    • We should be able to drag enemy bodies, to hide them.
    • Shooting from vehicles should be stabilized. The player’s aim should remain pointed at the same spot even when the vehicle is turning. That mimics reality.
    • Introduce SMOKE grenades PLEASE! The do for great tactical gameplay.
    • Throwables are very difficult to use on when throwing left. That is not very realistic.
    • Shooting while peeking from windows in buildings and over walls in terraces is very hard. The cover mechanic should be reviewed in these cases.
    • Cars should have a horn. It would help in Coop to signal friends where the escort is.
    • I believe that the binoculars animation is mission from other players seeing you use them.

    I believe this is it for now.

      Although humorous, I hope this video helps shows what I'd like to see added to the shooting mechanics:
    • Cars should have a horn. It would help in Coop to signal friends where the escort is. (Sorely needed. Perhaps devs can add an animation for NPC's to "hurry up" when the horn is used)
    • I believe that the binoculars animation is mission from other players seeing you use them. (+1000 thumbs up)

    I made another thread about permadeath (only permadeath) But I think they should have a punishment system when you die (not permadeath) but like.. you lose a level. Any progress thats between 0%->99% is 'reversed' and anything completed (100%) is something you don't have to re-play.

    At tiered mode, if you die = lost level. So if you're tier 2 and die.. you go to Tier 3. This makes it so that..
    1) Grievers can't ruin it for you (even with friendly fire off; explosions/intenitonal helicopter crashes etc still kill you)
    2) Bugs in the game (In my instance, I died from 'falling' out of my helicopter as I landed it.. and it suddenly exploded and I fell from the sky to the ground.. meanwhile my AI couldn't revive me)
    3) Unintentional situations that are 100% random don't count. (I killed every enemy and no longer hunted. Map was clear. Rebels got in the car; the car bugged out.. it spun around like a tornado and then it crashed into every car and ran me and my AIs over within half a second.. mix this in with bugs and very unlikely situations that are just frustrating.)

    The thing is, a lot of people on reddit have been complaining a lot about bugs or high tiered AIs being able to instant-headshot them. So they no longer play the game the way it's meant to be played, but rather they start exploiting AIs by using attack helicopters and spawning points etc. to grind levels at higher tier. Which is kind of sad. If you have a system when it's not so brutal, people would be more inclined to play legitimately; and can handle the trolls and the bugs and play it better.

    Just my 2 cents.

    I don’t understand why people complain about Ghost Mode having perma-death and wanting to change it... that’s the whole point of the Mode. Think of it as perma-death Mode... not Ghost Mode. If you don’t want Permadeath, just play the regular campaign mode. All of the other aspects of Ghost Mode such as one weapon slot and only modifying your load out at crates is easily supported in the regular game with a bit of self-discipline. In fact being able to change your weapons at any crate is still bizarre. I force myself to only change load out at rebel safe houses in the campaign.

    Alternatively, take matters into your own hands in Ghost Mode and back up your save game file periodically. I understand that’s totally viable on PC and PS4. Then you can choose exactly how much you lose between backups.

    Also, a lot of the death from glitch bugs were fixed in this last update, so there should be less complaints of an unfair deaths. But let’s face it, anyone flying in Ghost Mode is taking a huge and unnecessary risk.

    Vehicle Horn.

    Hell yes!
    Such a trivial thing but I love it in PUBG!
    One particular occasion near on finial circles, smashing that horn driving in circles & ended up with the chicken dinner, hilarious 👍🏻
    Number of times I just wanna beep 😂

    What I mean by this is: When you throw someting trough a door on your right, you can do it fast and easy. Now, when the door is to your left, then you must be very careful, because the character only uses his right hand and only thows stuff with the same method. I showcase this in the video below.



    There should be an option to roll, cook and use the left hand.

    you´ll understand when a team killer shot you down and teabag cheat on your mouth. this is the most stupid pointless buged mode ever created by the laziest coders in history.
    name of that mode should be mode save your game file as you used to do in 1980´s games.
    I´m finishing that crap mode only to get the crates and then never more.

    the best suggestion to this game is FIX THE BUGS! it looks like we´re still on beta. worse than beta actually so far I remember. more features brings more bugs exponentially.

    Absolutely. When stacked up on a door, whatever is being thrown should just be thrown through the doorway. If you are in cover with the open area to the left you shouldn’t throw right handed. You should be able to throw blind. Just with limited aim.

    Ok, I see what you mean. Yes, it can be an annoying animation. I wish there was a "swing around the door animation," like in the Splinter Cell series.
