i've more than once been losing about 40% progression in ranked, why does this keep happening?

im not rage quitting as i play ranked, but i still lose the progression, and it kinda sucks when you try to rank up...

And today my controller was disconected in game but not from my Playstation, so i could use my Playstation button and go to the Playstation menu, but i could not move my character in game, so i had to restart the game, and guess what happend, i lost 40 % progression and was banned 30 minutes..

I honestly think you should reevaluate how progression is lost, because it is incredebly annoying to lose a whole rank in 2 minutes when you have to grind for hours just to get one rank. Especially when you are not the one to blame for the loss of progression.
And when it happens countinusly it gets extremely frustrating, it's the sixth or seventh time it happens without disconect, and today it happended after i took a few hours break and reopened the game it substracted another 40%, and i know for sure that i did not leave a ranked match before i closed the game, i also know for a fact that i left the matchmaking.
