    Advice on the upcoming GE

Hello,I currently have a 5 PC Tac running along with a ninja .My SB is at 1.25 million and my seekers are are almost 90 dmg and the both come back really quick.

Ive read on TAC 6 pc classy,Using the advice on these forums from minds smarter than mine, hybrid seems to get me what i need and the cooldown factor comes into play so im liking this build at this point.

Having said that,Im really interested in the alpha 6pc because of the weapon talents being open on your best guns along with the healing it offers.

My 2 questions at this point are these.....

(1)Should i finish off the TAC 6pc?(Ive read hitting 60 stacks is hard) or should i stay with my current setup which is almost perfect in PVE.

(2)What is your fav. AB build?Im a PVE guy so thanks up front. But with the 5 complete sets i have now hoping a 6pc AB might save me in PVP for extractions and rogues.

    Thanks upfront

Not sure why you are running 5 PC Tac with Ninja bag. The Ninja bag doesn't work with classy sets past 4pc. The best way to run Tac is 5pc + Barret/ or inventive/ relentless backpack. I thought trying a hybrid build would be interesting with 6pc but trying to get 60 stacks without getting melted just doesn't work. AB is kinda quirky build at 6 pc but its a heck of a lot of fun for speed runs if you are decent at the game.I run 7k 4k 5k with a Bullfrog primary, and a decent pulse. with the mini tac links it melts. If you like running Skill builds you can do 3 SB 2 Tac and Ninja for a hybridish skill build with 256 weapons.

Ninja messenger bag does not unlock the 5 and 6 piece bonuses of the classified sets so there is no point i using 5 pieces and a messenger bag. As for pve, it really depends on the role you want to have. If you want to do raw damage definitely go for the Striker 6 piece. If you want to be in a more supportive role, then go for reclaimer 6p. Sentry is also excellent as well. As for the AB built, ever since they nerfed the 6 piece talent it has become much less useful. The 6 piece bonus is useless if you are in a squad and you need to have your stats balanced in order to work the way it’s supposed to. I would rather have the normal ult than having it rotate every few seconds. As for the dark zone again it depends on how you play and what you want to do and achieve. If you want survivability then I guess you should go for Nomad. If you want more damage Predator. Striker is now useless in pvp so that is out of the equation. I have noticed a lot of people like Banshee as well.

As mentioned before, Barret's Vest or inventive backpack are much better with 5 piece Tact than Ninja. The six piece Tact is mostly useless; firstly because it is not easy to reach the full bonus and secondly due to the fact that there is a cap on skill power of 450.000 as far as I know. Alpha Bridge with high FA is worth a try in PVE, but I don't like it in PVP. In missions with mostly veteran NPCs, Alpha is great - but not so much in legendaries where you are confronted with hunters and named Heavies etc. I like the set for Falcon Lost, for example - there are lots of NPCs with a short TTK so that your signature skills pop quite often. For extractions and rogues, I really recommend a Nomad with high stamina.

A soft cap indeed, so you'll get some skill power for electronics, but with diminishing returns.

That's also the main reason I prefer a relentless backpack and use talented on my main weapon. Sure, I'll need the kill first for talented to proc instead of having it on my gear, but at least I don't need full health (inventive) or to keep an eye on which skill is on cooldown (barrets).

Thanks, now I think I got what the difference between hard and soft cap is. Soft cap means that you still get a part of the skill power and hard cap means you get nothing after this point, isn't it? I have one relentless pack in store, I think I'll try it, since various players recommend it instead of inventive.

Try a 6 piece classy nomad all into skills and 40% skill haste, or 5 piece with Barrett's or inventive, gives you a bit more survivability and melts in pve. Definitely 9/10 k stam nomad for extracting. I use both in the dz, switching to the Stam build when extracting. If you haven't got a complete build use your ninja bag 3 nomad and 2 tact into skills pve

Exactly, the higher you go, the less value you get in return. More is always better of course, but if you hardly get any more damage for your seekers from 460k to 470k, it's wiser to pick something else where you can benifit more from.

I think people are overly negative about the diminishing returns sometimes - albeit on a case by case basis but for some setups it can still be quite useful getting the skill power bursting upto around 700K or so at times.
