Well, as we were just discussing in this thread and others it is not currently clear whether vanilla tier 1 is supposed to give 3000 or if the tier screen is an accidental reuse of the Ghost mode tier screen---in Ghost mode you definitely get 3000 for reaching tier 1.
Alien has it on a list of current issues being investigated by the devs updated a couple of days ago, but right now no one from Ubisoft has actually weighed in officially one way or another as to whether the reward or the tier screen is wrong.
I have not been able to find a vanilla campaign player who reached tier 1 and is 100% sure they got 3000 prestige, so my instinct is that it's supposed to be 300 in the vanilla campaign, thus it's the tier screen's promised rewards that are wrong.
It's definitely not a typo, it's just rewarded weird. I myself got the 300 instead of 3000. But as soon as I went back to finish up killing one of the bosses on Ghost mode instead of giving me 300 I got 3000. So try that. Maybe that will work for you also.Originally Posted by non-exist-ent Go to original post
Oof, this is about vanilla tier 1, not Ghost mode tier 1.Originally Posted by UbEAsoft Go to original post
I know. I got the 300 in vanilla tier 1 mode. But I went back to finish up on ghost mode, and instead of getting the 300 from the boss I got 3,000 insteadOriginally Posted by non-exist-ent Go to original post
Whoa, what? Are you 100% sure about that?Originally Posted by UbEAsoft Go to original post
Did you maybe hit level 30 or tier 1 in Ghost mode at the exact same time you killed a boss?
I find it hard to believe something that happened in vanilla would cause something to happen in Ghost mode.

No reason to assume it's a typo, the reward message has been there for quite some time and they could've cleaned it up with the last update to clear up the confusion. It clearly states you get 3000 credits for reaching Tier 1, just like it does in Ghost Mode. I've completed both, GM gave me 3000, while Campaign Mode gave me 300. This has happened to quite a few players, Ubi knows about it, has known about it, but of course hasn't taken any action. Simply put, they owe every one of us that's completed that ridiculous grind in CM a balance of 2700 credits. Will we ever see these credits? Being Ubisoft, highly unlikely.
Yea kind of like how they advertised, showed a picture reward of a helo with miniguns for completing a challenge for weeks then after the challenge was fulfilled. Credit us with “white chopper” no miniguns.Originally Posted by motoAPEx Go to original post
It wasn’t until a few people jumped up & down on the forums that they then included a day or so later the “gatling chopper”.
I’m guessing if they were to give 3000 prestige points for completing the normal campaign they’re thinking they lose out more on us pursuing battle/ Ghost crates in the long run if prestige crates don’t give us something we really want *shrugs

Hey guys,
Sorry for the late reply: I just wanted to confirm you that indeed you're supposed to receive 3000 prestige credits for reaching Tier 1 in the main campaign as well.
I do not have any updates on the issue yet, apart from the fact our team is still investigating about it.
As usual, we'll provide you updates as soon as we have them.
