Leveling up four levels gets you a Crate, and in my experience, that’s only a couple games if you win, and maybe eight if you’re having a bad day. And unlike other games (or Tier 1) where each level is a grind-fest, it’s fairly fast to level in Ghost Mode. Plus, I adore Ghost Mode - best PvP since SOCOM, on PS2.

As annoying as duplicates are, it gives you Credits without paying money, and that’s what everyone wanted. The price to pay is playig the entire game, not just PvE. Fair trade-off in my opinion.
As I've said elsewhere I don't know why so many people here seem so opposed to Ghost War. It's by no means the same game as singleplayer or coop PvE, but the GRW mechanics give us the same familiar polish and fun with the added excitement of competition with other players and a brilliantly balanced system of classes with a sort of rock-paper-scissors relationship between them.

It's by no means a replacement for PvE, and like most I'd rather Ubi concentrated a bit more on PvE, but Ghost War, judged on its own merits, is something special too, and it can be a nice change of pace as well while still allowing us to enjoy some of the gameplay elements that make combat in PvE so fun in the first place.

And earning prestige isn't really so hard, between like level 1-10 you level up practically once per match even. And even at higher levels it's just a handful of matches to level, and once you get over the hump of level 50 and start over you're rolling in quick level 1-10 prestige again. Not to mention the daily challenges allow you to get between 1-2+ levels' worth of prestige for some quick achievement like killing someone with explosives or killing 3 people with headshots or whatever. And if you don't play for a few days, that's fine, you can store up to 5 challenges.

I can typically grind 8000 prestige in PvP---the quantity you need to open 20 prestige crates and get yourself a free battelcrate---in a couple of days if I play concertedly. A good plan for someone with a typical five day work or school week who has only a weekend or a few evenings here or there to play.
