4 more commendations to go. Never thought I would get to as high of a score as I have. Started off just trying to get to 4000, now I am sitting at 5235. Figured the dz pvp ones were hopeless but I have gotten to where I only need the Manhunted. Hate going rogue because of all the grief rogues have given me over the time I have been playing.
I have blood money left which is well blood money. Not even close to that s.o.b.
Then I have Skirmish. Need No no no, Not Today which will give me Skirmish Expert.
It has been a grind for sure, but an enjoyable one. I have had a lot of fun. Hopefully D2 can have the same type of staying power.
i'm on ps4 too and just finished my last commendation today (blood money of course) - finally hit the magical 5365!.. would be so cool if we could get something for completing all the commendations to show off in division 1 & 2..eg a patch or a symbol beside/above our gamertag or whatever. anyway, keep the grind up..gl agent!
thanks man..yeah, imo they should hand out a little reward to show off that transfers to division 2 for each commendation 'stepping-stone' you completed in divsion 1(eg for players w/ score between 0-1000, 1000-2000, 2000-3000, 3000-4000, 4000-5000 and a special one for max score of 5365). true, blood money was a pain in the ***..i always tried to mix things up though, so it's not getting too boring while going for it..it took way longer, but at least i had the feeling that i was still helping out my team doing objectives and killing other players.
Yes, it is a bit stupid - you are in a PVP mode, but have to clear the LMs. I try to mix the things a bit, like you did. I clear two LMs per round on average and the rest of the time, I try to activate the boosts, attack the rogue homebase and support my team as good as I can. Nevertheless, it is a pain in the ...... and there are other comms which are really tedious too. Therefore, I would appreciate a reward system like the one you suggested.
Congrats on max score. I agree that it would be pretty cool to get a reward of some sort. Might be enough to keep me grinding. My trouble is I have fun doing other things than what I have left or helping my brother get some of his commendations. I am usually solo or with him and it makes it tough on somethings. Like skirmish I feel like I am ruining somebody's run if I try to die to get down by 10. May just have to go open mic and ask if who I am grouped with wants to try.
Whilst i'm only 3000+ from starting in January (and i'm not and have not been chasing them) i do agree with this comment. For thise who must have put some proper painstaking time and effort in to reach the top commendation score, there should be some extra form of recognition to show that. I know it's not a lot but a patch or outfit would be cool, it'd be great to recognise those who have done it as i intend to on the next one.Originally Posted by stylez-one Go to original post
I think the shields are a brilliant idea, maybe a bit of something for those who have hit the top commendation wouldnt go a miss either. Congrats to those who have done it.
About two weeks ago, I finally got No, no, no not today and, with it, Skirmish expert by luck. I had the same problem as you Ibust, that I did not want to spoil the game of others without warning. Therefore, I thought it is only possible in a team with mic, but sometimes you can get it with luck, too. We were 10 points behind after a bad start and the other group got over-confident and made emotes (kneeling down, taunting etc.). Then I used the opportunity to kill the guy who knelt down in front of me, he was so arrogant to do it again and I killed him again. Finally, my team woke up and we had a run from this point. After we killed them about 10 times, they realised that it is not so easy to kill us anymore, but it was too late - we won with 20:15. These round was really entertaining. I hope you will soon have luck as well.
yeah, just a little something that shows other players on division 2 that you achieved everything (max commendation score) on divsion 1 would be super nice - like i said, a symbol next to your gamertag for division 2..a patch or whatever. seriously, reaching the max commendation score was probably the biggest thing i ever achieved in any game i ever played (and i have over 130 platinum trophies on ps4).Originally Posted by TH3WIDOWMAK3R86 Go to original post
