[PC]Starting Issue (Unable to locate Uplay pc) | Forums

Hello everyone, i just bought For Honor yesterday and as it finished the update i tried to start the game and so it says

Unable to locate Uplay PC
Please reinstall Uplay pc

What does it means? I just tried to reinstall Uplay because i thought it was caused by the fact that uplay was on my SSD(C) and For honor was in the other drive(E), so i installed also uplay in the Ubisoft folder in (E) but now it says the same thing... that's why i never buy games

Hi AlexSwofford,

Please make sure that Uplay and the game are both running with Administration rights, which you can do through the steps here.

Also try a Clean Boot, to make sure there's not another program blocking Uplay. You can do this through the steps here.

Thanks for your answer, by the way now that i tried as you said the game no more launches the for honor starting screen, when i press play it just load the ubisoft screen when it says "loading Cloud objectives" and then acts like nothing happened...

I just followed both the guides. Now i triyed to unistall uplay and re install it, I enabled once again startup apps but left everything with administrator privileges, and still it says the Uplay pc problem..
