    [SUGGESTION] Smoke in PVE

    Hi there Team Ubi,

Can we please get obscuring smoke grenades into PVE?

Whether it is the smoke drone from PVP or thrown grenades introduced like the prox mines were, any ability to put down smoke would be great.

Thanks for the work you guys put into the latest content too.

    Cheers

I believe Ubi said something like: "While we recognize the community desire to have smoke grenades in PVE, there are not currently plans to implement it into the game". This was earlier in the year, as smoke has been a highly requested feature for a while.

**ubisoft makes a tactical shooter, leaves out a very tactical grenade** "we have no plan to do anything about that which we've already done nothing"

Based on past Ghost Recons (esp. Raven Shield), it's actually better that we don't have smoke. In PVE, players began to abuse it by spamming smoke and switching to IR, effectively disabling AI and reducing the game to a turkey shoot. In CoOp PVE, it further detracted from the experience because you knew you were playing with civilians oblivious to the fact that they were sitting in an unbreathable cloud for indefinite periods of time. In PVP, players used it to exploit the lag created by rendering multiple (esp. overlapping) distortion effects.

I would love to have them in game. They could be so useful in so many situations.

Smoke grenades should absolutely be in the game, and reduce the enemy's vision. I'd also like to see gas grenades in PvE

Watch as they soon say the same thing about bipods.

I like the part where they said they can't implement bloused boots as a cosmetic item, then in the TU16 update they added two new Icons with bloused boots. #seemslegit

The new icons come as complete outfits, not selecting various pants to various footwear. Coding-wise, it's a big deal - especially at this stage in the life of the product.
