You must not compare TD with CS. CS is light years ahead regarding anti cheat implementation. Even I have seen players getting vac bans during international level tourneys while a match is ongoing. Also global offensive has got "overwatch" option as well.

I so so much like TD that I quit CS for now. I really really hope TD2 has some solid anti cheat built in, do not want to be a heaven for cheaters and loosers.

    Regards

Not comparing CS to TD in regards to the anticheat it self i was more stating as a admin during that game and such how we would handle accusations and proceed in checking if the person was indeed cheating or if people just got mad at someone who was better, and vac is not flawless by any means, we had 2 or more anti cheat programs running on boomtown servers and such, and mIRC or Icq based scanners back then, when we had a idea someone was cheating so we had them play with the scanner running in the back ground to see if they were as they put it just that elite, back on point what i am saying as a former admin in games like those two games Battlefield and CS, we needed to be able to look at the player with out them being aware of us being alerted to their cheating so they would do as they normally did, and we might be able to do something if we had ingame footage rather then a group of friends just claiming a person cheated.

So we could avoid with a person being banned because a group of 3 or 4 friends all reported the player based on hearsay or their friend saying this guy is a cheater here is what happened and it would basically be copy pasted that claim with no evidence to support he was banning other then 3 or 4 people saying the exact same thing we would need to get evidence of cheating for ourselves, we did the supervised form of gaming or spectating the person either through valve or a on server run admin tool to make sure they were cheating a quick ban because someone suspects they are cheating is not enough to warrant a ban or even temp ban, if that was the case servers would be empty in no time with bans being given left and right.

So again naming and shaming someone who has been reported is often counter productive in the attempt to justify a perm ban of a player who paid for a license to play the game and unless you can prove with out a doubt they violated ToS you run the risk of being sued or taken to court for claims of grand larceny.

Edit: they also have anti cheat now in TD and people including some insider has confirmed that Easyanticheat would be in TD2 skillup made some video or said it was unoffically confirmed that it would be easyanticheat in TD2.

At Ubisoft you can change you rname once per 30 days, over that they have database who had names like that. This is why they asked every time also for tha time tag, what time the cheating happened. I am not sure how this is wokring, but I am also so sick and tired to make the video evidencies about the players who cheated obviously (RPM, shooting over the wall, teleporting).
Every time I receive that Ubi cannot share the result.
I understand it and also not.
I understand, as in case of their investigation result is NOT Gulty, the reporter should be more angry, as "he was the VICTIM, how it is possible that the "policeforce" did not make its job???"
Ubisoft should do this at least in case of the obvious cheaters, where you have video about the real hacking (teleport, rpm shoot over the wall etc), they should have a black list, but sure, as everybody can change its name, may somebody trying to use your name (or very similar) and you will be blamed so easily too.
So, aftrer many thinking about it, I think Ubi does it weel not to share the nicks, but at least they should share the numbers, how many players are banned because of cheat.
Every other big publishers are sharing this info, and many times they also share names (mainly in case they are "professiuonal" gamers). Ubi you can learn from PUBG and the others...

Now if I am talking about "professional" players:
I really do hate most of the tvichers as many of them are using hacks, maybe not the most obvious ones, but the silent ones, like no recoil macro, no spread etc, what can be not recognized so easily but from my point of view these are the same cheating like RPM hack etc.
I also hate players, who use the "chicken dance" macro, as I am sure, this was not the origin idea as the developers thought to be moving in this game.
They are like the guy who have to go to toliet on a festival, but all of the toilets are busy, but they are really really in need But you almost no have hitreg players moving like that. This was never fixed also in this game. These "players" call itselfs a "pro player".

I think, this kind of playing behaviour (using the silent devices) is more dangerous, as they are also cheat, but can be not recognized so easily, and also it builds a fake felling in the victims againts the players who play clean and legit.
    For example: D3 glitch.
We are a 4 player team, we mostly play in D3, as presently this is one of the most usefull set in Division (after the Striker nerf). We have been playing togehter for 7-8 months, and now we are playing as a team (3 D3 + 1 healer or FM, or 2 D3 + FM + Tact), and we got blaming on every day we play, that we use D3 glitch, however this is not realistic to use this. We never used that, as such a stupid thing from my point of view to use any kind of cheat,
We met many players, who had 3-4-5000 commendation score, and they repeted the "Glitch", like a parrott, but when I was asking them, "Hey guys, do you know at all, how to make the glitch, and how not realistic is to use this in the DZ?", they said no, but they think that we use glitch, so they report us.
I can imagine how many reports Ubi had about us, luckily they can easily check our gears stats, that this is impossible to make the glitch, mainly there are no gearset items enough at all, and with the stats for that are needed.

I knwo this is a sensitive topic, and was also the one who blamed everybody who shot me down (in the beginning of this game), but now I report and blame only those where it is clean to see (RPM, teleport etc), or in case of incredible dmg with impressive toughness (when you are burried with your shield under 0,1 sec, but you could do no damage on the opponents, yes this is also "realistic" as this is happening many times nowadays. Maybe there is an secret gear what is not known just by some "special ones"

At least we should have some sort of anti cheat installed. Valve may have some mechanism that can check your game install files for suspicious .exe files or macros scripts etc. That will at least wipe out common cheats like aimbots, spinbots etc.
We have also used antiwall measures in our servers in 1.6 and that has worked well. At least you won't see shameless cheaters in servers, they get destroyed by vac bans.

But this is also true that cheaters and loosers will get more advanced cheats hacks that are not easily detectable by anti cheats. This is human nature and its never gonna change.

    ^^

I dont know how many mp games you played but from my experience I am pretty sure toxic rude behaviour is there in majority of mp games. Speaking from my experience in aoe2, aom, quake 3, cs 1.6, cs go, dota, dota 2, battlefield

Says the guy with lag switcher in his name...

Several others have said it and I wondered it too. If you hate this game so much, why are you still here? When I hate something, the last thing I want is to be reminded of said thing. I wouldn't intentionally subject myself by repeatedly going back. I despise the PvP nature of the DZ in this game (Last Stand is much more appropriate). So, you know what I do? I don't go in there. Yet, I have over 2k hours in the game a this point. Why? Because I only did the things I enjoyed about it.

At least it isn't like Far Cry 5 where you are out doing the things you want to do then are FORCEFULLY removed from that activity to play out the stupid capture party sequence. In between that annoying event, that game is quite fun. But, it annoys me every time I play that it happens. As a result, I only play it every so often when my patience can handle another try.

Please, please tell us you are 10 years old. At least that way we can understand and correlate such a sustained temper tantrum.

If, on the other hand, you are an adult, well...best of luck in your life endeavors. You'll need all the help you can get.

`nuff said. The moderators will likely have to do something to silence your incessant whining, since you cannot seem to get ahold of yourself.
