Yeah. that's definitely not the issue I'm worried about. This was my first vanilla tier 1 character, and I received the 300 prestige rewards each tier just fine.

The question under discussion here is whether the reward for reaching vanilla tier 1 is 3000 and some people are getting only 300...or if the reward is only 300 like all other tiers and the "3000" is a typo because that's what you get for Ghost mode tier 1 and Ubi accidentally reused the same screen.

No, 3k prestge credits should also be in vanilla/base game, see this thread.

On the other hand - even if we would get the missing 2700 prestige credits I am sure I'd get only duplicates from it. From around 50 boxes I got only 5 items I did not have beforehand. One car and four patches...

But you already had a tier 1 character, no? So shouldn't it have been 15K prestige like Edgemoor said? 50 tiers, 300 prestige each?

Aye, you're right. I messed that up. But I remember opening 30 Crates.
And I also had a second T1 Character and can confirm that doesn't give an additional Prestige Credits Reward.

Mm, yeah, I'd noticed some players including you had voiced concerns about this issue.

As I said before I'm wondering whether we are dealing with a bug or with false advertising.

My instinct is the latter and that vanilla tier 1 was never meant to give 3000 prestige, they are just reusing the Ghost mode screen by accident.

That's why I'm trying to find anyone who has 100% no doubt definitely positively for sure received 3000 for vanilla tier 1.

Unfortunately it's pretty hard to tell when a lot of people here were already tier 1 when "SO2" dropped and got lump retroactive prestige payments a couple of months ago and may not remember the exact amount.

Got 15k when the patch dropped (or well rather when i checked).
Personally don't think 300 or 3000 is much of an issue compared to the bigger one of only being able to earn those prestige credits once. Really was hoping there'd be some end-game content to earn, at least in ghost mode, but with the only way to earn prestige points indefinitely being PvP, just kinda ruins it.

Not sure why people are so reticent to play Ghost War. It's not a replacement for PvE, but it's a fun sort of different thing to do on its own merits.

Hell, sometimes days will go by where I don't touch PvE at all and just want to hunt something piloted by a human, you know?
