I am really baffled about this outcome. Had hoped it was just a bug in update 10.
But how many people really experienced crashed because of high budget maps? Is this a frequent occurrence??
I've been playing FC5 (on PC) since launch and hardly had any crashes related to packed maps, or huge lag because if this ...

Or is this mainly a console thing?

Agree that Ubi is salting their game with every update. Give extra map objects but take away other more important things. Like the potential of gamemodes, vehicle respawn and other PvP focused things. Seems Ubi FC team is only into PvE.
When my maps get erased (even my featured one) I wont fix it. Done with this ... so much potential and they just throw it away.

Exactly, it's probably a kneejerk reaction by Ubi. What a trainwreck though....

    Resurrecting your maps!!!

TO ALL: DONT QUIT!! we can work together to fix your maps!! I just found out that Ps4 PLAY (win 10 app) IS GLOABAL!! So that being said- yes there will be lag if im in the arctic and your in the antarctic but we have the option to connect directly to your console (ps4) to fix your map -last case scenario- ..... AND you can watch / help!! Its not too complicated!!!

BTW - my soylent map was not dead, in my abundance of idiocy I forgot to TURN ON BUDGET GRID!!
I found a single red sector (twas too many gravestones in the church scene w/ PHYSIX) - PROBLEM SOLVED by deleting the said stones & replacing them w/ generic wall!!
also had to lower puddle maker lake soes not to trigg a clipper from all the barrels - since they dance now!!

    pubbing my maps asap
SOLO/COOPS will take more work to resurrect so be ready to make the sacrifice ")

Not sure where I read this bit of info, but it worx (in my case anyway) for ppl having budget issues with physics objects.

    1. Turn on the Budget Grid ( View -> Arcade Editor Settings -> "Show Budget Grid")

    2. Select the problematic physics model.

    3. Select the Move tool.

    4. Press "Pick pivot position" Button.

    5. Click the cursor in an empty or non-red grid sector in the level. (Usually on outer boundaries of level)

Hope this helps a bit! Now you can hopefully maintain your current level of detail.

This is sad! This update announcement harkens the death of Far Cry 5 Arcade.
Many people already abandoned the editor & arcade after this map breaking update.
Now those who were waiting around for a patch to fix it are going to abandon it as well!

So many of the objects that ship with the game editor (like some houses with objects already in) still cannot be placed at all!
Why are the objects that you shipped the game with & were clearly intended people to use, now can't be used but still in the editor?
Why have you not even considered the idea of a dynamic toggle on objects? Or being able to globally turn dynamic objects off?
Even something as basic as being able to filter dynamic objects in the object lists would help... But no all we get is "suck it up".
I don't care about anything being dynamic! I don't want dynamic! But many of the good looking objects are dynamic.

Take the following steps to fix this total ignorance of the community:

    1) Delete all your maps from their server.
    2) Uninstall the game.

Call of Duty Blackout anyone? ops! I mean anyone who was still playing this.

Actually, everything was so clear at the beginning of the launch date. There was BETA FC5 Arcade PvP gameplay videos on youtube which actually represent about this game and it's PvP feature. They made a man-child playground and they didn't care about PvP a bit. Hey, guess what, you can built a city half way under the water! Infinite Gameplay!! Even that's the disgusting intro music in Arcade menu..

Anyway, our mistake was hoped a lot of things by UBIsft. I agree with you about those 2 things.

    1) Delete all your maps from their server.
    2) Uninstall the game.

Probably no one will care if even best map makers do this. Even UBI will not care. Even it's ****ing simple to things to fix this PvP. But, they showed their face and we know this one. UBIsft will never be company do great PvP games like back then. They are just scaring to spend money to build powerful servers which can handle on PC side. Oh wait, consoles right? Watch Bathesda and Fallout 76 what they can do in few months!

I read it in the FaceBook group, just be careful anyone because if you delete and item after moving the pivot points should you then use UNDO that item will appear where you moved it's pivot point at.

That's correct. Moving Pivot point isn't permanent solution. When you need to change somethin in your last saved map file, probably everything messed up. Always take backup before changing anything from your maps. If something mess, you can use your backup map file.

F you Ubisoft. F... You... You had something truly special with FCIP and FC2. The map making community has been nearly unanimous with the features we want. You give us the middle finger every step of the way.
