Maybe with Pulse critical hit chance mods added on top of Vicious.Originally Posted by rosch15 Go to original post
Normally, youtube videos do not help me, since I they mostly tell me the things I already know and do not answer my specific questions. I have to endure 15 mins of bla bla to get one short piece of information in the end - when I am lucky. I prefer to puzzle out things myself and, sometimes, to ask competent people like you and Paul, for example, for advice. Nevertheless, thanks for the videos. I'll give them a chance and take a look when I am in mood, but I think I do already understand what you mean.
It's a conditional talent that may have less chance of proc'ing than Responsive or Unforgiving in PVP but it's also has very low requirements compared to these and some others so it makes it more accessible to a greater variety of builds.
Deadly on an SMG is way more effective than on any other weapon because of the high CHC.
The fact that you have two main weapons gives you the opportunity to choose talents for specific circumstances. Personally I may have Deadly on my first weapon which I will likely use at long to medium range and then when I'm in close, my secondary will be used which may have Responsive and Unforgiving.
If you're not running an SMG, you are best to pair Deadly with Fierce and/or Vicious. If you don't, then yes, it probably is a "wasted" talent. The exception is DeadEye.
OK. I think I got it. Fortunately, I have Deadly (combined with Vicious) on my House already used for Pred and Striker and on my M 700 Carbon Sniper used with DeadEye and Sentry. I only have to check out some details in case of Sentry and replace it on the Big Al. Again, thank you all for the quick and competent answers!
Deadly is fine on any weapon that has a decent amount of crit chance. All my smgs and ARs have 44-53% crit chance without a pulse, so deadly is avalable around half the time. If you have under 30% crit chance then consider a different talent or try increasing your crit chance.Originally Posted by rosch15 Go to original post
so if you follow link below means .i need 10 %crit hit chance and 100% crit hit damage right ? or is a real crap that link i think

I would have Brutal, Prepared and Elevated on my M700 for Sentry. Sentry can be setup with a focus on Headshot Damage and Damage to Elites and not even worry about Critical Hit Damage. I have mine setup similarly to MarcoStyle's video and it hits hard. If it crits then I can one-shot elite enemies.Originally Posted by rosch15 Go to original post
This is how I setup all my builds except ones that are specifically built for high crit chance like Predator or one of my Final Measure sets. Always ensure you have at least a 1:10 ratio.Originally Posted by ion__johN_ Go to original post
Others have disagreed with this but offer no statistical evidence that they actually benefit from more CHC. The simple fact of the matter is that there is a CHC cap and it can be easily reached. There is no CHD cap.
Thats a very old link with old guidance, back then over 200% crit damage was easy to get on smgs and ARs.Originally Posted by ion__johN_ Go to original post
Thanks for the addtitional information, Sangerss. Fortunately, prepared and Elevated are the other talents. I think I need a second one for the Sentry and the Carbon with Deadly stays with DeadEye. I never use youtube videos for my build, I just don't like to just copy someones style, but I think the information I got here suffice anyway.
