Aye.
I think we all brought up as much Patience as we could. Maybe too much Patience.
When even a "Health Patch" fails it's a 100% sign to stop hoping.
It's been a great and fun Ride tho. Worth every Cent. But with a little more Love and Quality it could easily have become a Legend.
You mean you guys are bailing out just when I bought the game and I am about to play it?
I am really hoping that the botched patch previous to the miracle health update has not ruined the main game... couldn't care less for weekly crap thingy, cosmetic issues, GM or T1 but I do want to finish the main game and 60% off was a deal I couldn't pass up again.![]()
The fact is, I just don't have room for it once RDR2 comes out. .....plus, there's no more replayability in GRW for me anymore.Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
btw, tons of news is dropping this morning for RDR2. There are going to be so many details in this game. ....can't wait.
Indeed, it looks fantastic. But GRW also looked fantastic back then, so I got a bit careful lately.Originally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post
Besides all that great Ideas in RDR I miss Character Smith. Or did they change that?
You know I was only kidding since you guys are on PS4 and I'm on PC but I understand you guys completely... Did you say that RDR2 was going to have a campaign later on? if so, I may be done with the WL campaign and I can check that one out.
@King... this is exactly why I don't buy at launch anymore, let alone pre-order w/o checking the game first. More so when it comes to UBI.
To be honest, R* is one of those few developers that I trust to make a game that I'll like.Originally Posted by KingSpawn1979 Go to original post
Yeah, there are a lot of details coming out today about RDR2. You play as Arthur Morgan so he is who he is but you will be able to dress him as you like (e.g. shirts, hat, scarf, jacket, etc.). ....so in that way, you can customize your character as you like.
You can also style his hair and beard which will grow in real time. Clothes get dirty, etc. He can also pack on weight if you eat too much. You character will lose stamina if you're in cold weather without proper clothing to keep you warm (e.g. a jacket). Sleep will help your character rejuvenate faster but is not a mechanic that is designed to be tedious/excessive.
You bond with your horse over time and after while they will learn new tricks like a skidding stop, side step, etc. You can buy different saddles for them, blankets, etc. There are even different breeds with different qualities. They can also die which gives you an incentive to try and keep them from harm.
Weapons require cleaning and are customizable through gunsmiths. You can use things like gun oil to rejuvenate old weapons you find out in the field. I believe I read that holsters will have an effect on how fast you can draw and will also keep your weapon(s) in better condition.
Tons of other details (too many to list here).
R* has mentioned numerous times that the single player experience was very important to them. The game is all about the campaign. The online component won't even launch until the month after. ......but this if for console as there is still no news for PC (sorry).Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
