Looks like you're gonna have to. Believe me, I don't like them putting stuff exclusively behind Battle Crates and I'm not in any way defending the practice (this stuff, be it weapons, Icons, emojis, etc., should all be optionally buyable in packs or even individually from the store), but right now it is what it is.

It's perhaps even colder comfort than "there are 'adults in the room' within the Trump administration", but if you're patient it's possible the Model 1887 will be added to prestige crates. Many past battlecrate items have now been migrated to prestige crates.

You'll still have to gamble, but at least it will be free.

I don't personally mind buying a crate every now and then, but I don't make a regular habit of it. Every now and then you can get lucky, though. I bought a crate yesterday and drew the stealth bandana and Blackbeard Icon.

But, yeah, I'm far more inclined to give Ubisoft my money if they put the items I want in packs that I can buy. Hopefully they wise up and eventually do this with the crate-exclusive weapons. Would love to have the Galil ACE.

Just keep earning prestige and get yourself a spec ops crate every twenty prestige crates if you don't want to spend any more state backed fiat currency.

1887's rarity is legendary and legendary items' proportion in battle crates is 2%...It's nearly impossible to get from one crate.And I don't think ubi will change it before the end of 2018.

Just gotta bruteforce it.

Obviously the battlecrate pool is full of silly things I'm not sure anyone wants, but it's not that expensive to just spam crates and get the whole collection if you really want those legendaries.

I'd wait for a credit sale though.
