    The easiest commendations

Recently, I've heard several players complaining about the 3000 comm score needed for the Talon Shield. In my view, the score is easy to achieve just by playing the different modes of the Division. And you don't need to play all modes, that means. it is no problem, if you don't like, for example, going rogue or legendaries flawless, The real work begins when you try to get 5000. Then, you have to do all the boring, grinding comms such as 500 phases in UG or 100 S&D missions. The Talon Shield, however, is not difficult to attain. Here some tips for commendations you can achieve while playing the normal way.
All comms of the category General and Exploration (770 + 415 in total): while playing help civilians, perform emotes, shoot traps and tires and collect vanity items as well as echos, photos from drones etc. Just don't sell or dismantle classy gear as long as you don't have the Set Collector comm., but sell everything you don't need. Roll talents on your weapons and craft some items etc.

Combat/PVP (1090 + 455) Use different kinds of weapons to kill NPCs of the different groups and don't forget use consumables, granades, skills. Revive yourself or other players in missions, DZ, LS and Skirmish. Clear LMs in DZ, extract items and get supply drops. All those things we do each day in TD.

Survival (275): in my view, some Survival comms are really easy, e. g. Survival Exlorer including Pacifist, Nick of Time etc. There are hardly any players left in PVP. After 15 min, you are often the only one left and then, it is easy to do these comms, Hunter to Hunted (there are three extraction points and meanwhile, we all have become familiar with Hunters and should be able to three hunter per round), For the hoarder (just extract items).
The same applies to UG and West Side Pier commendations. That's why I think that the score for Talon can be reached without much effort. You don't need to focus on the comms, just keep them in mind while playing.

Thanks for sharing! I'm sure this will be helpful for people trying to get that juicy commendation score.

Appreciate your answer, Johan. After checking the categories again, I discovered further commendations that are relatively easy to attain. For example, in UG, Weekly Worrier gives 30 points for just 5 Weekly UG Assignments as well as Knowledge is Power for 500 intel - this is not much work compared to other comms - and The Beast Below is worth 40 points just for reaching UG level 40 and Ranked Match gives 40 points for LS level 40. Further examples for comms having a good effort/reward ratio, imo, are Highest Value Target with 30 points for 20 HVT missions Rank 4, Electronic Expert 10 for placing both circuits in Clear Sky, Bomba Man 1 +2 20 points for placing the bombs in Falcon Lost, Having an EMP Blast 10 points for stoping the drones at the beginning of Falcon Lost with your EMP sticky, Russian Roulette 10 for playing Russian Consulate with a Magnum (really no problem in a group), Legendary Agent gives 20 points + 10 points each for completing the three old legendaries, Networking 100 missions as part of a group (next week is GE, a good opportunity to complete commendations like that). I am sure there are more and hope this will help players with a lower comm score.

I went thru Russian Consulate with a magnum on normal. I just picked up Revivalist. Odds are I won't get the minimum required points for the shield, but some of the commendations are fun in a strange way. This one supports the grinder the most, but it made me look at the game a little differently. Play it a little differently.

Yes, Revivalist is a good example for one of these comms you can do by the way in normal game play.

How far along are you? Go over the list and pick somethings out. Work on them slowly.
Don't need to be a daily grinder to get there. You have 6 months approx to get there.

    Account wide commendations

Hi Johan, do you know if there is any word on all commendations being made account wide yet as opposed to some still by character only?? It is frustrating having part of the commendation done on one character and some on another and not having the commendation because of it, i.e. the manhunted commendation, I have more than 50 manhunts survived total but not on any one character, the total is spread out across all my characters depending on which build i plan to use in the DZ at the time. This means I have not got the commendation yet. I know this issue about commendations has been raised in the past but there has never been an answer to the problem.

I'm at 2720 score and played for months and there are no real easy ones left (aside from cheesing Russian consulate with the magnum on an easy difficulty setting) - part of the problem is I've not really bothered with commendations so missing quite a bit of relatively easy score from the GEs that would otherwise probably have put me around 3500 :s

GE comms do not count for the total score, unfortunately. Above that, I agree that it is really irratating that some comms are counted per character and some not. When I started to focus increasingly on the comms, I selected one character for UG as well as HVTs/ S&D missions and one for DZ, LS and Skirmish.

If you need to 'cheese' a few, what's the big deal? As stated above there's hvt commendations and ug ones the are simple too.
