As much as I would absolutely love more guns to play around with, I feel that the community is hurting itself by making these polls. Ubisoft sees the polls, picks guns that people want, and then boom... paywall. They hear what everyone wants and then puts it behind a pay wall. Just look at the HK416! The Fallen Ghost weapons! And even the NVGs. This is getting ridiculous and kinda manipulative on the part of Ubisoft. Please stop making more posts about weapons and customization options unless Ubisoft guarantees they will be free. Instead of suggesting weapons and items, we should continue to push for features and fixes that can't be locked behind a pay wall, like putting friendly fire into the main campaign.
Everyone want something for nothing lol, come on man, understand this is the how game as a service works. If you want continuous development your going to get paid items. Companies need to make their money somewhere; and while I don't always agree with the price or the quality of content delivered, I don't expect it all to be free. A company monetized something you want? What a surprise. The fact is people want and will pay for more guns/items, and that will in turn both drive the lifespan and development of the game, something all players benefit from.
No one really expects them as free. But ubi thing is you messed it up and my game is full of s*it. So finally until support ends - m4 short barrel, AND PLEASE ADD NO BACKBACK AND A LONDON BRIGDE TRADING LBT 1961a CHEST RIG TO THE SET - THANKS UBISOFT
And guys sorry for messing up the threads but I can‘t take this serious anymore. Ubi ripped me off once again, all that what could been a pleasure or gift (i payd for), was just pain in the a*s and for that reason and For my mes*ed up trip to bolivia
So your solution for paywalls, is to stop asking for gear to be added? That doesn't make any sense at all, because we didn't ask for 99% of the stuff that has been added to the game, but they were all locked behind paywalls none the less. So isn't it better that they at least add things that players actually want? I doubt the HK416 or LVOA-C would ever be released, if people hadn't kept asking for them.
So maybe you should tell people to stop requesting items, unless they are prepared to pay for them, if they do get added. And since you obviously are not willing to pay the money, we shouldn't be seeing any requests from you. Should we?
Honestly half of this wouldn't matter if you could actually efficiently earn the blue ghost credits. Then I would make all kinds of requests. I would love a lot of guns, but since Ubisoft only adds them to put them behind a pay wall, they push you to buy it.Originally Posted by Megalodon26 Go to original post
Personally, I’m fine with the paywalls. They have to earn money if they’re gonna spent their time making new content.
What I’m NOT fine with is having to spend $26 to get enough Credits to buy a $20 pack, because I can’t just buy $20 worth of Credits, to get one gun that I want along with a bunch of useless clothes that I’ll never equip, and then another $26 to get the other $20 pack that does have the one clothing item I want buried amidst a plethora of useless crap that I don’t want.
Therefore, I’ve only bought one single pack so far, because only one single pack has contained items I’ve used all of.
I’d buy a TON of items if I could buy just the ones I want, but I can’t, so I won’t buy any.
Yeah, I don't know how they get away with the whole credits thing. Microsoft were made to stop it for the same reason.
It's really a shame what has happened to the gaming industry, but the community let it happen. If those first paid DLCs had bombed we wouldn't be where we are. If a dev spent money on a loot crate system and nobody bought one, we wouldn't be here.
The problem is that everyone wants to complain but nobody wants to do without their unicorn swirl gun skin...
I agree with the Weapon Polls. I'm tired of Ubisoft paying attention to Weapon Polls and not paying attention to bugs that need to be fixed ASAP in Wildlands. They just released the September Update and there were minor bug fixes to the game. There are still game breaking bugs and they said this update would address and fix the game breaking bugs, especially in Ghost Mode. Don't even get me started with the LVOA-C. They added the gun but didn't test the 30 round magazine on it. The quality control has greatly degraded from year one.
