    [SUGGESTION] Boot bands/blousing straps

Im active duty Navy (FMF) and something that I've always thought would be a great addition for realism/immersion would be adding the option to cuff your boots to your respective pants. For most of us in the military we're instantly stopped by our superiors and talked to for being "out of regulation" for not having our boots cuffed.

I don't think Nomad and his team has to worry about any regulations right at the moment.

Yeah I would like to see this feature in the game as well. Also it would be nice to have some classic Altama Jungle Boots with the old Panama Tread to go with this feature.

Many of us have asked Ubi for a bloused pants set. I think they might run into issues with it however because of the variety of footwear. Specifically sneakers, hiking shoes, etc. That's understandable. What I don't get is why they can't do tucked in shirts. At least they started compromising by making shortened to the belt line.

I myself am active duty USAF. What gets under my skin a bit are the Crye ABU Combat shirts. The abdomen is supposed to be the same green color as the tiger stripes shown in the image. I think all branches of the military have few issues with the gear and camos.

There's a similar issue with US Woodland pattern in the game. For some reason, the unpatterned areas on a number of items (the Crye shirt and Tactec plate carrier come to mind) equipped with it are made coyote tan when they should either be dark brown, green, or camo patterned. Coyote tan does not blend in well with green vegetation.

Ubi have demonstrated they are reticent to revisit existing meshes even to fix bugs. They'll put out new items with new meshes for sale, but I suspect the existing footwear meshes are what we see already, "unfinished", just the part of the boot visible below unbloused trousers, and I very much doubt they are willing to go back and model the ankle and calf parts when there's no money in it.

They even mentioned bloused boots in their year two roadmap notes in April as something they are absolutely not doing.

Perhaps we might, however, hope for some new microtransaction items that are a newly made trouser-boot combination but as a trouser item that renders the footwear category as "none" the same what certain eyewear, facewear, and headgear exclude each other's categories sometimes.
