    HK416 vs LVOA-C

Which of these is $20 ARs is the best rifle for medium range engagements and CQC? Has anyone got both and compared actual RoF, damage, recoil control, and bullet drop in the game? I don’t care about the stats, those have been proven meaningless.

    HK416 wins out almost completely.

Can you elaborate on what you’ve observed?

After trying both, I would purchase the 416 as the better all around, more versatile weapon.

In defence of the LVOAC---or rather its pack---it comes with that fantastic Crye combat shirt variant with the sleeves rolled up and the collar unzipped.

I'd've bought that pack already if I hadn't got the military zip shirt---similar look but short sleeved---in a battlecrate.

I haven't actually played with the LVOAC yet since I don't have the pack, but I do have the HK416 and can highly recommend it as the best assault rifle for CQC except for maybe ACR and MDR.

Be advised there is an issue with sight picture on the HK416, you don't zoom in quite as much on a given optic as with other weapons using that same optic. Sometimes I actually find that advantageous though. Not having to traverse/elevate as many pixels to look around or change targets. Makes the weapon feel more manoeuvrable.

I would encourage anyone that has purchased both to please do a more qualitative comparison... bullet drop, recoil pattern, damage against alert enemies, how close to an enemy can you fire a shot with suppressor before being “suspected”, reload time, RoF, these are all important metrics. Thanks.

I doubt anything's going to be better than the ACR that you can't even buy, you have to pick it up in the game world. It's obviously Ubi's favourite rifle, almost a mascot.

Most weapons you can get in the store are just custom meshes over existing weapons---like a TAC90 being just an HTI, an R93 being just an MSR, et cetera.

I recommend buying guns in the store because you like their look and want to have that look, not because you're looking for an edge.

There are very few pay to win items in this game.

Can anyone explain to me what's special about the LVOA-C? Apart from the obvious aesthetics? The HK-416 for example is a piston gun designed with Special ops in mind....what role does the LVOA fill? It seems like another fancy AR variant.

Curious about that too. Maybe one of our Cracks can explain it?

It really is just a highend AR15.

It uses direct impingement and comes from the factory heavily modded with custom components from a variety of quality gunsmiths and tactical equipment companies.

It also features War Sport's own custom barrel shroud and muzzle system with integrated flash suppression.

It weighs about the same as a SCAR but is far smaller, thus the "low visibility" in LVOA.
