Ok I have to get this out of the way. I love this game. I still play it, which mostly just about never happens. Usually once I finish a game that's it. But I am just replaying gr wildlands again, I did play quite a few hours of pvp and so on...
BUT the way you are upgrading this game almost makes me vomit. Year one and two season pass? What the ****? And it costs 30 - 40 dollars and gives you what? I mean guys I want to support you, I want to give you my money!!! But not this way...
After TWO years I somehow expected a good, solid single player addon, of course playable in coop in the vein of fallen ghosts. And of course connected to the main game in every aspect unlike the aforementioned dlc. Forget about that narco road dlc cause that, well I don't know whoever designed it doesn't have a clue apparently.
So what I wanted to say is I am kind of sad as I would like to support this game, I really would, and I would gladly pay 40 dollars for a good, polished, content full addon. But I am not paying 40 dollars for a week early access to some mode, a couple of if at all loot crates lol, and some stupid couple of operatives.
And ok I get it you have to expand multiplayer, but come on give us an option, make something for people who are not into pvp as much. People want to give you money (I think I am not the only one) and you ignore it.
Sorry for the rant, couldn't remain quiet anymore, I enjoy this game too much not to say anything.

I was totally against the Season pass on this game when Narco Road came out, matter of fact it was one of the things that made me never buy a season pass in advance again. I eventually went back and picked up Fallen Ghosts even tho i was still against it being cut off from the main game.
I am not going to ever buy a loot box. In any game.
Would I buy an actual DLC with gear / outfits, missions and a Story? In a heartbeat..

You need to understand that the game as a service works this way.
The second pass works only as a way to support all special operations, do you know how much money they need to develop new game modes/missions/maps for both pve/pvp plus the cosmetics especially those that they need to acquire a paid license from?
Is a lot of time and a lot of money. Before you had to pay from that stuff and the support ended after a couple of months.
It works for them in Rainbow Six Siege and that's only a pvp game.
Year 2 pass is the same as RS Siege, is for pvp only it has been from the beginning, do not play it that much? Then do not buy it.
If they ever do a year 3 support (which i hope they do, there is a lot of fixes this game needs) then its likely they may do the same plus a pve dlc included.
Now to the comment with
"Fallen Ghosts cut from the main game"
Its better that way and i hope they still do it (which i believe they will because other Ubi games after this one do it the same way) FG is a sequel to the main storyline, it doesn't make sense for it to take place in the main game.

Of course, I somehow can imagine the costs for continual development mister finance guy. I am not here to learn about company costs, it is on them to sell it to me and they failed. But still costs or no costs I won't pay 40 dollars for nothing basically.
Like I said I love the game and just gave my two cents about what I would like to see in this game, and gladly pay for.

Free content is only free when it isn't broken or it does not break other things that were not broken before. If it breaks the main game that is not what I would consider free content. To my knowledge, the previous update broke a lot of the main game and this health update didn't leave people any healthier ... did I understand this wrong?

For PVE players, yes, they failed but those players weren't the market target but with all the complains they are trying to appeal to them which is a mistake because they can do better.
And looking at it, you are a PVE player which means that this pass isn’t for you and it isn’t going to be. Like I said, maybe on year 3 they can launch a season pass 3 with story content but right now the season pass 2 is not going to change that much in content.
In my opinion they should add the Rainbow Six Siege pack from special operations 2 and do the same for the following special ops 3 and 4 with other cosmetics packs and maybe a 50% discount for regular packs and battlecrates for those who own the pass.
Free is always free no matter if it is broken, the same with paid content but yes indeed you are right. Is sad that they do not take their time to check updates. It is also disappointing that they didn’t fix a lot of stuff with this operation health, they wasted time creating new cosmetics when this was supposed to be a bug fixing update only, they should do another operation health once special ops 3 and 4 is finish.
