I don't know how many more people intend on voting, so here's the top 3 from each category:

Snipers/DMRs
1. Mk12 Mod1 (DMR)
2. Fn Scar Mk20 SSR (DMR)
3. CreyTac Intervention (Sniper)

SMG/LMG
1. H&K UMP (SMG)
2. Q Honey Badger 2017 (SMG)

Note*: The LVOA-C (customizable) was actually 3rd, but it was added to the game shortly after the poll was posted.

While the amount of votes per category varies, I think it is relatively safe to say that the weapons above are some of the most commonly suggested ones, with the exception of pistols, shotguns and perhaps melee weapons.

So yes, you can obviously continue voting if you want and I hope this helps Ubi a bit.

How about the AA-12? An incredible gun with very low recoil. Add the bigger mag, use same sites as assault rifles, barrel upgrade and trigger choice. Also would love to see ammo choices for different weapons (birdshot/slugs)

I did not want to spam the forum, so I thought 3 polls would suffice to get an idea of what people want. I am aware that this excludes pistols and shotguns, although I haven't seen that many suggestions in those categories. The glock and a pump shotgun did pop up a lot, but this was only to specify what weapons people prefer specifically in the other categories, that are generally more populair.

As for mags, barrels and all of that, these topics are for weapon suggestions, not weapon attachment suggestions.
