Rising Beta impressions: An OTHG perspective.

Firstly, thanks RL/Ubisoft for allowing me to sample the Rising Beta.

A few thoughts on my impressions:-

I played on a 4k Sony Bravia TV with the Xbox One X, it ran extremely well and very smooth, even multiplayer. Didn't notice any glitches, slow down or anything like that.My friends on the base XB didn't notice too much untoward to be fair though.

The graphics are varied and excellent. The colours mouth watering. The variety of objects will allow for limitless tracks.I look forward to previous game re-makes.Always love to tackle 'Technique' .

The gameplay is about perfect for me. It has an Evo feel to it, which is no bad thing in my eyes as it's the best game in the series (my opinion, guys). I like the feel of the bikes that are available, although I'm still only average with the Rhino (Scorpion never was my best bike!).

I understand the Ninja's amongst us are having concerns about the Mantis and I hope something can be sorted for you guys. Another top end bike would be preferable? because I like the Mantis pretty much as it is (and so do quite a few of my OTHG friends).

The challenges I weren't too fussed with, and I'm not a fan of crates.

The customisation I like, plenty of scope for decoration of outfits, and it will be nice to do so with the bikes. The outfits I would like to buy with money earned in game, as opposed to random items in a crate.

The tracks: I loved the tracks, enjoyed playing them all, especially the European ones. Some were exceptional. The waterfalls on the UK track, sublime. I hope though that there will be some pure speed run tracks without loop de loops, etc. I'm sure there will be.

Thanks again for the Beta, and I eagerly await the release of the game. I haven't felt this good about Trials in a long time.

thank you Rudemod, after reading I agree with you "Mantis is fine" for the ninja ..... another motorcycle derived from the Mantis to satisfy all of the old (or young) ninja players.

    perfect, my friend
