"AC-AR" is Ubi's name for Galil, yeah. That's the name it has in Watch Dogs as well.Originally Posted by Ghost416 Go to original post
Looks most like an ACE 32 variant specifically, I think. Because 7.62x39 mag.
Looking up IWI's website, they don't show a 7.62x39mm model with that length of barrel. Looks like Ubi hybridized it with the ACE 22's 13" barrel.Originally Posted by non-exist-ent Go to original post
Another good addition, just wish it wasn't locked behind battle crates.
I just hope it has the iconic skeletonised stock as an option. Not optimistic though. The R4 doesn't have it after all. ((((Originally Posted by Ghost416 Go to original post
Also I hope it doesn't have the mismeshed gasblock issues AKs in this game have where the gasblock is the colour of the body of the weapon rather than the barrel. More optimistic about that since the R4 has the correct meshing.
A little research later it appears that the "U100" LMG from the Y2P pack is an Ultimax 100 and the "Z93" sniper from battlecrates is a Zastava M93.
An Ultimax 100 Mark 5, to be specific.Originally Posted by non-exist-ent Go to original post

We don't get a barrel change handle though, rip.Originally Posted by Ghost416 Go to original post

So it’s a game or what you get? I might have to go through 20 crates before I get it??
Yeah, unfortunately you have to be prepared to bruteforce it to get things you want.Originally Posted by LaMOi Go to original post
The current battlecrate pool is around 100 "SO2" items and around 45 "O&M" items, and every battlecrate will give you 3 items at random.
Also weapons are always "legendary", the most rare category, and sometimes clothing items are now legendary as well---like the Team Wendy bump helmet with monocular NOD from "SO2"---so the odds of getting many of the things people really want aren't great if you just gamble a little.
Not to mention I'm sure a few people are still quite annoyed that like half the total item pool are "social items" (emotes and such).
And you can't even narrow down weapons to Spec Ops crates any more, I got my R93 sniper from a Ghost War crate, and Spec Ops crates have some silly vehicles added in "SO2" like tractors and such clogging them up as well.
The whole system is a bit disappointing really. I would think producing more items everybody wants or charging more for them individually would be a less triggering business model to the playerbase than bundling popular items with fluff not many people are into.
But, welp, all that being said if you decide to dip your toe in the crate pool after all I hope you do get some things you like. ))))
